Agreed!!! My theory with it is if your car has a new problem after it's been to the mechanics, take it back cos they may have stuffed something. Stuff can coincidentally break though in fairness.

It actually sounds like you're having a similar but worse problem to what Isola's having. A fkd fuel pump will give you a bunch of surging under load and the car will literally run as you're describing it. Was it just a general service that was done? I doubt it'd be a headgasket though. The symptoms are pretty obvious for it (smoke out the back, overheating, milky residue). As noobish as this sounds, it could be that they haven't connected a coilpack properly... I could be totally wrong though... Sucks either way mang
