I dodnt think they control timing? Timing is what will give the greatest gains down low

Ahh ok... should that be done on a dyno? Or can any mechanic do that?

Of course most are over priced, but say you paid what they're worth ($500 with HC) than paying $1500? for something much, much better.

EG: my basic car, 500 + tuning seems more appealing than 1500 + tuning

agreed, there are too many muppets wanting crazy prices for 2nd hand pfcs like $1200+

..or by saying that am i a dirty low baller? :domokun:

dyno for your timing mate, any workshop with a dyno should be sweet to do it

SAFC = super air flow controller

unless i'm wrong it only controls the mixtures

bunta matey,, whats the going rate on adaptronics lately on installations?

*face palm*

Installation doesn't mean tuning.

so you want it installed but not tuned?

lol why do i bother - but from what ive seen/heard they only offer a price for it installed and tuned, which makes sense

but by all means call efi performance, introduce yourself, and tell them you want one installed and not tuned (as they are the qld supplier)

There are more then 1 supplier for Adaptronic in brisbane

but since Bunta gets his through them ill get it from else where..

i would say not a lot its 1200 installed and tuned and the unit itself is about $850 so im guessing the installing part is being charged out at about $200 including the short patch loom which is about $25

Just get them direct from adaptronic! Its a Brisbane company thats where i got mine from.

http://www.adaptronic.com.au/products/vidiguage.html I want this!

oh and it turns out that for all the s series cars and the GTSTs there is already a plug in loom developed, they have been busy little beavers!

cheers bunta love you long time..

yea i was gonna get in contact with them.. but unsure at this present stage of what to run..

LOVE U LONG TIME SKINS..

    • Finally have an update on this  Rack came in this week so I did a test fit. You do need the S chassis bushings since the rack is 5mm thinner than the R33 rack. The main issue I foresaw and ran into was one of the hardlines not lining up properly with there it's meant to on the rack. After some gentle coercing and bending very slightly, I managed to get it to fit without any kinks and keeping the hardline pretty much in all of the factory mounting positions. I did have to unbolt all of the soft mounts to move the line around so I could snake it out and bend it safely but it looks good to me for now. I'll update when the rack is fully bolted in and functioning.

    • What are you thinking makes a sequential shit to drive on the street? About the ONLY thing I can think of, is if you're wanting to be able to roll up to lights in third or second and pop it straight into neutral, or you want to come down two or three gears, say out of 5th and back to second, but they shift quick enough it doesn't really matter
    • I'm not a drag racing guy, but that was a good watch. Didn't Ibrahim's car have some cooch! But the big question is....WTF is with so many of them running without seatbelts!
