Dan - explanations for both because I'm not sure what part you were asking about

In other news however, I am making a grated cheese and scrambled egg sandwhich.
yum... toasted ?
no! toasting it would cause the ketchup matrix to destabilize!
if only I had tabasco sauce... tabasco sauce would have turned this sandwhich into a winburger!
the short version.

Sarina Russo said "yes, we're a job network member, and can help you look for jobs. But first you have to spend 2 weeks doing one of the following things: Work for the dole, course in admin, course in retail, course in customer contact.

I figured I knew the most about customer contact and figured I may as well get a bit of paper to say I knew how to do to chuck on the resume. Seemed more appropriate than retail or admin. Also decided I'd get more out of that, than work for the dole. Which would give me skills in unpacking boxes and working with ex cons.

So I sign up for it. Then all of a sudden it's five weeks and it's soooooooo mind numbing.

The really annoying part is I got told there were limited places in the course, and that only the best applicants would make it in. If they're only going to accept the best... why is it so elementary?!

on a slight side note, any of you guys going/ or coming from nerang any time this week?

need to pick up a bumper from there, but haven't got time to get out there any time this week.

Damn, Dan took my ute down to the GC yesterday arvo. Shame we didn't see this in time.

Sorry dude, I got no plans to head that way soon.

Morning manging mengz.

Wow........11 hours since last post :O

Hmmm very strange for this bunch of whores

Maybe people actually have stuff to do at work these days?

day 4 of 25 :P

Seriosuly dude? FIVE WEEKS? If it was 2 weeks I might be able to stick it out for the long haul, but FIVE? I'd have bailed after during the 1st day...

bailment = benefit payments cancelled :P

I've been railroaded

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I'd be bitching to anyone and everyone and demanding they just let me do whatever the assesment is without sitting through a useless 5 week course

You know if you completely cancel your payment, re sign up you start from the beginning again..

I like the way this man thinks

Is anyone here a "computer technician" that can write a report for insurance that my sister fried her laptop by spilling soup all over it?

I have a degree in computer systems engineering, but apparently that does not cut it as I am not a 'technician'.

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
