Morning mangs...... how was ye olde ice creamery?

Morning. Grace was sensational :D

Also wouldn't the german club be packed for origin? I'd say any drinking establishment within Brisbane would be... especially with food :)
If we're able to get in?

The consensus last night was that it probably wouldn't be packed, as all the football league nuts would go to sports bars and the like.

Thats good then. Should have them all done and dusted on tuesday arvo. Did you want them early or just bring them on thursday ? I've never been to the german club. Are you allowed to mention the war? :D

Thursday will be fine mang. As I said, no rush.

Whatever you do, DON'T MENTION THE WAR. And no ordering holocaust burgers either.

"I may have mentioned the war a little, but I think I got away with it" :)

Keen for the bar. :P

That's what she said.

Pffftttt couldn't be arsed.

That's what she said.

Might cost you some beers :)

I have a standard one but the pipework is all changed and won't fit.

So you don't have a standard mount anymore? (that's what she said)

Drove past a piece of shit KE70 before. And the top bloke that owns it half debadged it so it says "ROLLA" on the back. I wanted to just get out and club lock the shit out of it... but then I realised there wasn't really much more that could be broken on it, and I didn't have my club lock.

I have two of them here, just didn't have it in the car.

BTW - question for anyone to field.

Should I keep my front guard plastic inserts, or sell them?

depends on if you want your guards to fill up with mud i spose. they go for like $80 a half side ( thats if yours come apart ) mine are in two pieces for each side

They won't fit any more, so you might as well bin/sell them.

I can't beleive they are worth money! :ninja:

Well they don't fit... Mine are one side per side if that makes sense

I see them sell a lot, just didn't know if I should keep them for anything

If they don't see you drive it on the road - you can always try the "duh... it's a track day... I set it up for track when I got here" and hope they don't bust you when you're leaving :ninja:

    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
    • Yeah, I would have said the same. It makes me suggest that there are other things wrong, such that the ECU is totally unhappy with the broken sensor. The only other thought here is that maybe it is shorted, which might cause a different issue to the typical "disconnected" sensor.
