@andy Awesome news! I need new pants

@thrustion, won't be able to helicoil up that far, you'll need a proper adapter, the same as your old one probably. I don't know where you would get one though :D. Go back to the dodgy bastard that sold you the dildo knob (I'm assuming you bought it from my best mate) and tell him to find you a new adapter. Don't pay him though!

Helicoils are for stripped threads, they won't do an M10-M12 spec change. You'll need an adapter, don't know if bunnings will have one or not.

sorry mang i misunderstood!

guess its no dildo tmr then :D

so tyre run trip is canx?

Nope. Tyre run trip is in process of orgamisation.

Scouts can do a BBQ for the day but need to know what people wants to eat i.e. burgers, or snag in bread for costing per head.

The tyre shop can do a good discount but need to know what sizes and how many.

Also thinking of doing a bulk buy for a drift tyre ( not sure what that is exactly but assumed that you would need some cheapies to flog the carp out of ) and sizes for them ( assume 17" ? )

Car wash = out :D water restrictions.

    • I'll get one of these also just for giggles
    • I bought 6 new spark plugs to compare readings. They will be here tomorrow and ill see if meter is far off if it all. I know one is at least reading 0 so its best replace all anyway if one is bad, from experience. I still have to test the harness just to be sure its not a double issue and I waste my time haha-the old plugs are iridium I always thought those lasted more than 50,000 km.
    • If you take the top half of the intake off you can unbolt the flap off the shaft and leave the shaft in there blocking the hole. Then you can remove the little vacuum canister off from under the manifold and get a spare vacuum line to run to the ECU. I can take some photos of it later. Probably best to get the vacuum source to the ECU sorted first though. Mine all worked mint with the base map from the GTT an I've pretty much let the closed loop sort the fueling and took 1 degree out of the whole timing map.
    • This IS something you also have to configure in Haltech (or at least I did in the past when going from onboard-to-ECU map sensor and an external MAP sensor in haltech land).
    • I'm hoping it's something as simple as the ECU is looking for an external MAP sensor, but he is trying to use the onboard MAP sensor.
