Inner West Crew Whoretown (toowong/st Lucia/kenmore/indooroopilly And Sometimes Sunnybank?)

I don't want to go to a meet where we end up standing around in a car park. I'd rather go somewhere for dinner or coffee whatever so you can sit down and talk shit rather than standing in a car park looking like a bunch of tools. My 2c.

Sent him a message to find out about postage. Another guy is keen on them so there goes my idea of lowballing him a bit more. Still decent price for those turbos.

Good stuff mang.

I'll come to the Jacks meets. Just as long as it's not sponsored by Team Monster Energy drinks and FlatCappers Inc.

Yeah thats why I feel its hard to really control lol. last time I threatened if I was there their number plates would be given to coppers so they never misbehaved lol.

Yeah I can understand that but its hard to do on a over 20 kinda thing.

Has anyone heard about those "We buy any car" places? I'd be interested to know what they model the valuation on. I'm not planning on using them or anything, just saw a sign on the train home.

I'm guessing they would just base it off redbook like most other dealers.

In other news. Looks like I'll be getting some new turbros n stuff for the car  Manager came and saw me yesterday to talk about pushing me through to a full Site Engineer position in the new year so the hard work is paying off. Looking at getting some cheap -7s off here if the guy likes my offer + 34 GTR Dumps and a Nistune.

finally some power upgrades, but i'd be saving for an engine rebuild though.

This morning i met a man on a white motorbike who wanted a chat :(

So yeah i have, when selling the S15 on carsales...

If the time since the ad was created is more than 14 days and its still not sold they call you...

I was not interested in using their service at all, as you know everyone needs to make a buck so i feared their offer... I was right...

So redbook on the car said;

*$10,400 to $12,600 trade

*$12,000 to $14,000 private

*80,000 to 140,000km ODO

They offered $6k cash and they will organise a tow truck to pick it up.

I said "its registered and road worthy, its not damaged its as original as the day it was made"

They said "no $6k is our offer for the car in good order as described, the tow truck is simply so we can transport it"

I sold it for $17,500 a week later... That was back in March this year...

It was a Aussie delivered GT model, so i had to wait for the right buyer who was not distracted by import versions...

In short the "we buy your car now" people only live for the really despirate people, i mean really despirate...

Id be pretty sure they wont buy imports, or if they did its be seated before they gave a price...

"I have this R34 NUR, what will you give me"... "Arhh lets see, $6k"... lol

Meh it has lasted 3 years with no problems. If I get the turbos and get another year out of it before needing a rebuild I will be happy.

-7s, 34 Dumps, New fuel pump and 15psi. 250kw? I'll be happy.

Wondered what a despirate was.

Used to describe a person who is so pathetically infatuated with a person or sexually desperate that they become so desperate, they actually plunder the meaning of the word desperate.

high flow cats too, you still got the compliance ones there?

Yeah 3 inch cat and either install the $100 front pipes I bought ages ago or try and get some pretty equal length ones.

So yeah i have, when selling the S15 on carsales...

Yeah, I didn't think they'd really be offering top dollar or anything.

Coonbarge is misfiring again down.gif

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
