If anyone's interested, I got the new laser roadworthied last week and transfered to my name.... done all the usual shit since, oil + filter, new radiator & coolant, she runs great now! Just have to adjust the carby so it idles a little higher once warm and I'll be pretty happy with it!

got a copy of Forza 3 the other day and finally got a chance to play it today. Pretty awesome game. The drifting bit takes a bit of practice... I totally munted the mines R34 drifting it up some mountain in Fujiama or something. Good selection of cars in it from what I've seen so far
