Whats the best size for a R32 GTR, im after front and back and right side and left side of under the car, i want it in blue and want it to light up very well

Please let me know and can you send me a pic of a R32 with neons if [email protected]

MELV,,,I'm going to Sticky this thread cause it seems the boys love your Neons.

But if get one wiff that this is a business I'll have you Banned.

By the way,,,you should approach some of the Bathurst 24 hours guy's,,,some of them use neons at night.

Neil.

M3M3NTO :

ABS, haha they dont know what they are talking about mate.

Put it this way i have done a old FX and FJ holden and it was basicly the same as when i a did a porshe GT3 race car.

you will have no problems fitting the kit. Im sorry that i dont have a pic of a R32 with them *YET* but im sure someone will send me a pic of there undercar neons for me. if you want it to light up very well then you cant get bright than REAL neon. not AEROPRO crap just fades and is really only fluro tube. your on the goldcoast too, so i can just drop the neons of to you. give me a PM if your interested.

Neil : Mate thanks heaps for the sticky.

Dont worry im not a busness im doing this stricly for you guys here.

I was thinking of maybe getting a NSW , ACT , MELB etc group buy ? so i can just send it all down in one BIG create or something ?

Chears Mate

Well I got my 2 kits (thanks MELV) and although I haven't actually fitted them yet... I'd just like to say I'm impressed. They seem to be really good quality... especially for the price.

I am a bit confused as to how I am going to fit the rear one on.... my muffler seems to get in the way.

Talej - thanks for the comments mate, if you look under the rear of the car u might be able to sit the neon just above the muffler, let me know how you go and email me pics if u have time. if u find u cant get that last one to fit let me know

CHEARS !!

I'd also like to know this. Any sizes between 20-40cm? If so how much for four?

i think he is trying to say that i sent out 10kits to a sponcer on Car Audio Australia and the sponcer recived all the neons etc but never payed me claming that the neons were all broken. I lost $1500 worth of neon (i was selling the kits at $250 to them). and the postage company only payed $500 for the insurance.

also Car Audio Australia members were claming they had not even recived there neon i had chased this matter up with my courier and they had there signature signing that they did infact recive it. i also had ppl just msging me saying that there neon was broken but refused to send me a photo of it. there are alot of ppl out there that rip you off. so i figured i will give up the neon thing and did so for 2 years untill i came here and thought well maybe some of you might be interestred insome neon so i sold it at $200 a pop. i have supled neon to 4 major audio companys here on the cost.

1) INCAR

2) GOLDCOAST CAR SOUND

3) FIST AUDIO

4) KRYPTITE AUDIO

i dont have a busness name i dont have a workshop. my dad owns a sign company and i do work there but i operate a LASERCUTTING MACHINE. so if anyone wants something laser cut i can also help you. the neons are made from the two glass benders we have working. and all the kits i sell have nothing to do with the busness as i personly pay for the glass , cable , packaging (if anyone here wants to tell everyone how i pack the kits please do because i put alot of effort into making sure they do get there saftley).

Can everyone who has there kit that i have sent out please send me back some photos of the finished job or post them up so i can see them

CHEARS EVERYONE.

SAU is a awsome forum :D

didnt doubt you for a second

that story is farked too, i think i even heard something about that

dodgy people

    • Did you panel beat the dents or have you tried to repair this only using filler?  Is your sanding block soft/flexible and is following the shape of the panel rather then just knocking down the high points?
    • I haven't knocked them down yet. I think I made the repair more complex than it should have been. I had rock chips combined with waviness and dents and I tackled it all in one because it was near each other and just end up wasting a bunch of bog lol. I'll knock down those areas and see how I go. And yep what you are saying at the end is correct. I think I might be sanding the top of a steep hill then my sanding block falls into the dent and gets rid of the guidecoat if that makes sense. Though shouldnt unless I'm covering too big of an area with not a long enough block. I'll try something new and provide some updates. Getting there though! Thanks as always.
    • Yeah makes sense, hard to comment on your situation without seeing what your doing. I was talking generally before, I would not be looking to randomly create low spots with a hammer to then have to fill them.  It's hard without seeing what your doing, it sounds like you are using the guide coat to identify low spots, as you're saying the panel is still wavy. I don't see how you're not ending up with patches of guide coat remaining in a wavy panel? Once the high spots are knocked down to the correct level, surely to have a wavy panel you need low spots. And those low spots would have guide coat still in them?
    • So I'll put filler past the repair area a bit to make sure I don't miss anything. Then I'll block it until it's almost level, put the guidecoat, then keep blocking until it's gone. Then it's still wavy.  In regards to hitting the panel, I saw this video might give more context - Skip to 0:47 he knocks it down. But yeah I'm sanding until the guidecoat is gone then checking because otherwise my filler is still well above the bodyline. Unless what you're saying is I should put guidecoat around it early, surrounding the filler then stip once it's gone?
    • I refreshed the OEM injectors with the kit and connected it up. It now ideals okay even with the IACV removed. Driving still has the same cutoff issue like the 550cc injectors so the issue is somewhere else. I bought FPG's Fuel Pump Hanger. I will be installing it next, but it is not as straightforward as I thought it was with my limited wiring knowledge and no instruction on the specific model I purchased (FPG-089). I also got the incorrect billet clamp as I could not find info on the OEM sizing.
