If anyone recorded the race and can burn to DVD, I wouldn't mind a copy (will pay), and I'm sure Pete would like a copy too to watch ... in between babysitting the children.

:D

got it on tivo sled... but i dont think that'll be much good to you =\

but awsome race, lotsa over taking, lotsa accidents... webbers bad luck continues! =P

but sucks that vettel got penalised and fined, it was so 50/50!! and lewis ended up 3rd?!? seems a bit wrong, from what i could tell is that lewis intially overtook trulli under saftey car conditions! still race control seemed a bit slack on the first SC

the race control officials were way too slack for the first race i reackon....specially Barrichello should have been penalised for hitting Webber on the side on the first turn...first lap...i mean that was such an avoidable accident but guess what Rubens just barged his way through recklessly...Very very bad luck for both vettel and kubica they should have just been happy with where they were at for the first race....

And luke a lot of drivers did user KERS on the start....Kubica chose not to have KERS on his car...30Kg less weight...goes to show that you dont really need KERS but seen it work and it definately helps in passing or defending

Sir Richard says:

"At the moment we're just sponsors," he continued. "One day, Virgin might own a team and name it after itself. In the meantime, we'll have talks. I'm sure if Brawn GP keep plying me with champagne and putting gorgeous Virgin girls either side of me, you never know!

Barrichello actually got hit from behind and hence pushed into webber... you could penalise kovalinan for the incident, but he put himself out of the race totally because of it.. =\

actually, all cars weigh 675kg, kers or no kers.. so Kubica's car was still the same weight, he just had more adjustment with his balast. but were you watching the race? did you see what the ferrari's did off the line??? but i think it will be needed in just a few races, as soon as all the diffusers etc get sorted, the cars with kers will be the ones winning

i did watch the race lukey boy....lol....and yes just remembered that kovalinen was the one behind that turn one incident....ohh yes the Ferrari's absolutely made major grounds on the start specially Raikonen....they definately used the KERS to its full potential IMHO.....i also saw a driver defending his position by using KERS...give it a few more GP's before things become a bit more clear

BTW well spotted luke

Any sideways action? Always love seeing them get the back out

for that Jarrad you gota watch the free practise and qualifying mate

during the races the drivers normally dont really push push push on every lap

but when practising and qualifying ohhh baby do they push hard or what

during the melbourne gp there were plenty of big moments by really experienced drivers

Ohhh steve that news is like candy to a fat kid to me mate

finally that w**ker is getting what he deserves...and to think that the race stewards didnt do anything about it....something doesnt sit right.....its they either favor some drivers or they are just freaking blind....when i saw it i was like wtf is going on then waited to see if he got a penalty but no nothing happened...and i forgot about it

and they gave Trulli a 25 second penatly....at least justice is served....and it tastes oh so sweeter when its Hamilton copping it

he always does that w**ker.....i hate him just because to me he comes across as very arrogant....and he is driving for the wrong team......lets see what the Ferrari's can serve it to him this time.....

really good to see Ferrari bouncing back from a bad start to the season

Qualifying is on 1 HD at 10pm tonight people's

Race is on same channel from 6pm

OMFG i cant believe Ferrari's big f**kup yesterday in qualifying

Massa did one flying lap in Q1 did a time of 1:35:xxx and guess where that put him....yep your wrong 16th

At least Raikonen did well and lasted till Q3 and Webber had a really good run and did a awesome job

Hamilton finished around the 11th or 12th mark.....sucks to be him lol

and in an interview Hamilton did say that he lied to the stewards about that safety car incident and was told to do so by the team manager......wow mclaren are in the shit now

Very disappointing from Ferrari. Brawn GP have genuine pace.

Apparently now massa was having problems with his gear box....maybe why they just left it like that and changed it overnight or something. Certainly the Brawn GP cars are freaking quick....Goes to show that Button really was a good driver stuck in a very freaking slow honda car...must have been that laggy V tech yo

The weather here has returned to its usual heat and humidity, with an ambient temperature high of 32 degrees Celsius expected. However, serious concerns remain about the likelihood of the same sort of torrential rain we saw around 1800 hours on Saturday, which would mean it arriving two-thirds through the race's scheduled distance.

WOOT!!!! wet race FTW!!!! then again, the aus gp was one of the most interesting and enjoyable dry races i've seen in a long time!

Ferarri so dropped the ball in quali, but hey, seems to be the way that team is heading atm... mebe a case of too many chefs =\ tho they still seem to be doing better than mclaren.

i think button will win back to back, kimi will be second, and a dog fight between a toyota drive and kubica for 3rd... webber predicion is 8th at best - prob will lose his front wing again in t1 tho. but this will depend on when the rain hits and how hard.. the more rain the better the diffuser 3 will be!

    • Pressure when IDLING, is meant to be 51PSi... So that amperage value needs to go up a fair chunk... I'd personally be factoring for more like 12amp at least on those runs, and at that point you need to hope the already there wiring doesn't drop you a volt or two, as that's a lot of fuel pressure flow drop off from 13.5 to 12V! Taking idle pressure of 51psi, means the pump will be drawing a MINIMUM of 9amps all the time based on your reading of the graph (3bar base, then allowing an extra 0.5bar for boost = roughly 51psi)
    • Hi all,  I am in the market for an R200 longnose diff out of a Z31 300ZX, or S12 RSX, DR30 skyline, or similar, in a 3.9 ratio.  Preferably a late model one with the M12 crownwheel bolts.  The only easy to find advert for one of these was my ad back in 2007 when I sold it on this forum.  I sold the diff as I had sold the car it goes to, but as it turns out, after 18 years I got the car back late last year, so now I'm looking for the diff !  If anyone knows where to find a longnose R200 LSD with the M12 crownwheel bolts, drop me a line at [email protected] - Bonus paid if soomeone comes up with the original diff (stranger things have happened !).  Cheers   Ben D
    • Hi everyone, I used to post here a bit from 2004-2013, when I owned various Nissans, in particular my S12 RSX gazelle, which was sold in 2007.  As luck would have it, after an 18 year hiatus, the car found its way back to me last year, and over the past 11 months I have had the pleasure of restoring it with my kids.  One thing that I am after in particular is a 3.9 ratio R200 LSD for it.  I actually sold the one out of the car here back in 2007 , and it would be incredible if I could track down who I sold it to, so I can see how they have progressed over the years (and to be honest, to see whether I can get the diff back !).  Anyways, hi all and let me know "where are the R200 Longnose diffs all at these days ?  Cheers Ben D
    • Arms will be the same as the G35 or 350Z, but as above, there was a change in the lower control arm where it connects to the ball joint.  That said, you can remove the ball joint cone from your old ball joints and fit them to the new ball joints.  To be honest, I didn't think the ball joints themselves were different. The main ball joint is a bit awkward to replace, you really need to remove the steering knuckle to press out the old one.  Some people have used tools to remove it in place, but it just seemed too hard to get to. If you are going to press out/in that ball joint, then you may as well just replace the bushings in the LCA and the compression rod.  You can buy the compression rod bushing from Nissan, but the LCA bushes, you will need to go aftermarket. Much cheaper than buying the whole arm.
    • Ha, well, it's been.... a bit of a journey. Things have taken much longer than I'd hoped. I'll probably put up a thread at some stage. Hopefully soon. The car's not done any kms since my update in June though, put it that way.
