Hi all, I have a R34 Steering wheel which is in near new condition, air bag has never went off and this was takin of a r34 5 months ago that had done 34,000kms, so the whreel has not done much at all, has manual Tiptronic buttons that have no marks and are a nice goldish color, would look great against a custom dash the same color..

REASON FOR SELLING: Was going to fit this to my s2 r33, but now selling the car and never got to fit it on :(

LOCATION: Gold Coast Or Brisbane Pickup

POSTAGE: $18 I will check this on tuesday at the post office

WILL FIT: R34 Models, and R33 Models with airbags.

PRICE: $240 or best offer

I WILL HAVE PIX UP ON TUESDAY, BUT WHELL LOOKS LIKE THESE PIX BELOW.

Will not be disapointed. Wheel has been boxed for 5 months and still has a very strong leather smell..

Will this fit an R33 S1 non airbag ? (dont care about the electrical side of things , ill sort that, just physical fit.....

if so can you get a hires pic of the actual wheel you have. I assume those pics are for a demo of what the wheel looks like, not the actual one you have ?

Gary

hey, yeah, it will fit s1 gts, not sure about the hicas tho?, i found when i dissconnected the air bag my hicas went as well, does anyone know if the hicas is part of the airbag connection?... if it is, i would say s1 may have a issue?.. but, i think you can get a boss kit for that issue?..

and ill get pix on tuesday, thats just a demo pic... ill send a pm when its up :P..

Thanks mate...... yeah i dont care about the wiring of airbag, as ill probably just remove it internally either way its not going to be used. I just want it for the tiptronic switches on the wheel, as i made my own custom auto controller with "tiptronic" as they call it, and though this would be a great idea over custom , and still look factory.

I'll keep eye out for PM. Thanks

Gary

oi, i was going to do the same thing :)... nice work on that.. check with some people, but im sure you can use it, but watch for the hicas connection.. pm u tomoorw :)

hmm that is weird.. i have no edit button to edit my top post ?.. :P

any ways. here are pix with a flash on.. there is a dust mark on the right side, i rubed it and made it more dust, if needed i will clean the dust off ...

    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
    • Thanks for the replies everyone. Definitely a coolant push. Oil catch can is empty and always has been. As the engine is out now I'll be having a good look over things. I do have some detonation on the piston tops from a trigger issue back about 5 years ago. I felt it and shut off then bought a new ecu and changed the trigger. Never been an issue since. It never hurt the power, its made almost 80hp more since that incident but I will pull the bearing caps to take a look. If the bearings are damaged I will do a bottom end refresh. Head is being re conditioned at the moment and the block will be cleaned and checked to ensure it's flat. I'll go with a kameari gasket and see how it ends up. The other thing I'm not super keen on is the cylinder colours. I suspect this is from the inlet manifold. The plan will be to put it back together, retune and then stick a plazmaman billet inlet on it and retune. I'm happy with the power, if it makes a little more, then great, but I would rather just make everything more efficient at this stage.
    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
    • Well the articals keep saying a Q50s (Skyline in Japan) with a new Manual gearbox. I like the talk about the new looks with the round tail lights. I hope they bring back the retro look like they did with the Z
