football? yeah, not a fan, its gayer than 2 men doin it.

LOL Dave, you & Steve should seriously contemplate nuptials :)

Damo, I don't mind a little rivalry as long as it's healthy and in jest (bit hard not to when you're passionate about the team you support).

If peeps want to start slagging each other & get personal then I'll deal with it when it arises.

Looks like Cameron Ling is going to miss up to 4 weeks..... Geelong should still smash the Lions at Skilled Stadium

Matt Thomas gets done for making 'reckless' contact with an umpire.... When will this umpire nonsense end!

With Ottens out too (2 of their best) should make it interesting........hrmm, wonder when we're playing them (only way we'll beat them)

I've seen the footage now, how soft, he had eyes for the ball only and that seagull smashed into him and took him out of the play!!

Now that they're miked up, they think they're the stars that everyone comes to see.......flaming drama queens!! :P

I've always said it was bullshit that these umpires are untouchables and these pricks can decide the outcome of a game ffs!

Umpires do need protection but then players shouldnt be penalised when they have the eyes for the ball and accidentally run into the umpire....thats just plain ridiculous....i remember a collingwood player got a week or so for touching a umpire while arguing his call...i mean wtf

in actual fact Krishy, Matty Thomas was stationary waiting for the ball to be bounced by the Seagull.......the Seagull smashed into him!

Unfortunately the rules now state that players have to leave a clear corridor behind the umpire so he can reverse quickly after a bounce......the twits never bounce straight anyway and they don't always run back in a straight line!

I know im probably gonna get flamed for this, but i lmfao whenever seagulls get owned at footy matches

there was this one on the footy show where some poor sod of a seagul lands and the ball gets kicked from 30 metres away, goes up in the air and lands right on top of it

or the one that gets taken out mid flight when someone landed a big drop kick....owned by a football travelling 100kph

ahh seagulls. Cheap entertainment. thankyou son of rajab

Umpires do need protection

BS, the umpires are out there to do exactly that, umpire, the players aren't there to get them, and the players know that even the slightest peck on the cheek will land them on the couch for a couple of weeks.

The Matty Thomas incident is just an example of how soft the game is getting, if a guy has eyes for the ball and ends up at the back of the pack, and genuinely wants to take a grab, a tickle on his opponents back just to see where he is should be fine IMO, blatant push-outs should be penalised, but surely not the current situation that if you find yourself behind the ball, the odds are favoured against you to outjump the bloke infront of you, instinct tells you to try and sheild yourself from an 100kg 6' footballer moving backwards at you.

Lol, Ryan.

You posted that at the same time I was slagging your boys.....sorry mate but the truth must hurt :)

Yeah I've been following them since there first year in the AFL....the amount of good players (especially in the first 5 years) that they simply traded away is shocking! In approx 15 years in the comp they have had 1 good year! For the majority they have always had a reasonable line up aswell so no excuses for such a shitty record......they will win a flag one day, I just hope its this century.... :)

I am not saying that protect them like the way they are getting protected now

all i am trying to say is guess that players can't just go ahead and smash an umpire pretty much...thats why i love soccer....touch the ref and you get carded....AFL doesnt have the card system so makes it quite hard

but you play the rest of the game knowing its your last for a while, players know there is a 0 tolerance rule with conflict between themselves and umpires, you could see in the Carlton game that Fev swore, so the umpire gave a 50m penalty. I think thats bullshit, but yeah, players know, and ignorance isnt an excuse.

but thats exactly it

players can do something...get reported....yet allowed to complete the game....that could change the results....thats one thing i love about soccer...you commit something serious your cautioned (yellow card) then if you repeat that again then off you go (red card)....so you can no longer take part in the game in progress and automatically miss another game....they also have a tribunal for those who commit more serious offence....like deliberatly steping on your opponents hands or something like that...and they can increase your ban

IMHO AFL is very soft on that perspective

i think the afl do it better, innocent until proven guilty. A soccer payer might look like he fouled someone, video tape may show different. Afl players are always innocent until proven guilty, unless your Barry Hall who is blatantly caught knocking a bloke out..

    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way. Simples
    • Ok, disregard my “rate them” comment, sorry for my unrealistic input
