firebladejr
Just wondering what everyone else thinks about the G-Tech Pro performance meters. I was thinking of purchasing one to get 1/4mile times and just to do some general testing. How accurate are they? Are they anywhere near as good as taking the car to the track? T0nyGTSt
All these meters are really only for jerk farting around - and I mean ALL - doesn't matter if it's an Apex RSM, G-Tech or HKS turbo timer model. Richelieu
There is a review of the G-Tech in use on a GTR in "Performance Buildups" magazine. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/26755-g-tech-opinions/#findComment-564921 Share on other sites
Busky2k
Shit thats damn cheap. Anyone really willing to get one? I might just for comparitive purposes when mucking with the car (not for absolute 'track' times) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/26755-g-tech-opinions/#findComment-565122 Share on other sites
GraemeWi
They are good fun - I owned one for a couple of years - sold it onto someone else (they lunched 2 engines attempting to get the perfect launch!) Duncan
Well, they don't all suck, you just need to get a good one with one of those g-force sensors (accellerometer?), they are OK. The ones that just work off wheel speed are very innaccurate.
