Hey guys,

Just wondering whether i should go for 2nd hand front & rear GTR sway bars and save some money or go for Whiteline sway bars??

I noticed GTR rear sway bars are 27mm thick which seems pretty thick! Are these solid or hollow??

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

front won't fit... plus i remember SK did mention the front rate was too soft anyway..

I have R34 GTR rear sway bar on my GTST.. I thought it was a waste of time since it wasn't much of an improvement over standard ones... standard GTST's about 18mm solid while R34 GTR ones were 24mm hollow..

The R33 and R32 rear sway bars are both hollow and are a bit thicker @ 26.5 and 25.4mm respectively, than the R34 ones. The only reason I can think of why nissan decided to use thicker hollow bars with not much increase in rate is probably for weight saving... the 24mm hollow bar from R34 GTR was noticeably lighter than the stock GTST item..

so if you could get an R33 GTR rear sway bar then I guess it would be an ok budget upgrade with while keeping stock front sway bars..

I know I'll go whiteline for sure later down the track..
