Going to go with some gloss black for now and see where to go from there :( Don't want too many different colours in there, probably 3 max. Just have to figure out what I want to strip and spray then go from there. Won't take long I imagine, just going to take some elbow grease.... as it was, took me just over 2 hours to sand back the belt cover heh.

The previous scheme i had in there was better. I regret spraying it again. The first time around it was silver engine with black plenum, blue hoses and blue cam gears and that looked a lot neater. Ahhh the benefit of hindsight. Oh well you live and you learn

This is my fourth year owning mine and they are a pleasure to drive, however be prepared to spend the coin and fix them and budget for it. Buy one which already has had the work done to it, locally would be ideal because most motors need to be rebuilt now days and it will save you alot of cash. Get the car checked over from a good workshop and just ask people if they know the car, the Perth GTR scene is pretty tight and most cars are known and the condition they are in ect.

Hey Travis, found out the other day that cannot get heat resistant gloss paint... Damn. Aparrently it's all Matte. Sanded back the timing belt cover, used some heavy duty degreaser and cleaned it up, primed it and then sprayed it on the weekend. I'll post some pics up tonight if I get a chance.
