Hi Guys,

I am putting up my Nitro R/C Helicopter for sale. This is one serious bit of kit (rotor diameter is 1.25 meters!), great for your first nitro heli and a little more serious than the cheap indoor heli's!

It has been sitting on my shelf for too long and i need to get rid of it to make space.

It is a Thunder Tiger Raptor 30 size with an OS 32SX-H engine, required servo's, Gyro and some spares

includes the following:

* Thunder Tiger Raptor 30 (assembled)

* OS 32SX-H Nitro Heli Engine

* CSM ICG540 Gyroscope with Heading Hold

* Yusa Tuned sports muffler

* 4x JR NES-511 Servo's (controls)

* 1x Futaba S9205 servo (tail)

* reusable fuel filter

Also comes with the following support items (to get it started etc.)

* Universal Engine starter motor

* Pro Glo plug starter and AC charger

* 12V reversable Fuel pump

* CSM 3 in 1 Flight Simulator for JR radios (a little old now but quite useable, has JR interface cable etc.)

Also comes with the following brand new spares:

* 1 set of flybar paddles

* 1x PV0038 Tail Fins

* 2x PV0037 Tail rotor blades

* 1x PV0002 Flybar arm

* 1x Main rotor shaft

* 1x PV0017 tail pitch slider

* 1x AK0060 Tail Boom

* 1x PV0043 Tail Control Rods

* 1x PV0008 Flybar rod

Comes with the box, some instructions etc. all in really good condition (though can do with a checkup and re-oil etc.).

All that is really required is a Transmitter, Reciever, and Nitro fuel.. then your good to go!

Pickup in perth or postage.

$420 for quick sale plus postage

please contact me by PM or email [email protected]

It depends on Model Transmitter you buy, also new or secondhand etc

Ebay you can pick up transmitters for less then $150 sometimes, for a full six channel set.

Its really ashame I didn't get to use the Heli at all very much. So busy atm.

how much does the remote controls etc cost to get it running?

    • How would you even adjust the clutch if the pedal already has the correct free play? The operating cylinder has no adjustment in mounting position or rod length. On pull style clutches there is also no ability to adjust the bearing carrier. Push type I can see how adjusting the carrier height makes it all work.   If this is the twin plate clutch did you verify that your friction disks were oriented correctly? It's not mentioned in the directions at all you just have to notice that one side the friction disks have a part number on the hub fingers and a subtle coning to those fingers. Another thing that I noticed was if you put the friction disks in backwards the pressure plate fingers will not be even and flat when the clutch is installed.
    • yeah, mechanically, it is probably do-able, off the top of my head, there would be the transfer case, which I believe will bolt up to the rear of the RWD transmission, the shorter rear tail shaft. A front drive shaft, front diff, engine upper sump, front drive shafts, front hubs and front AWD struts (they are shaped around the front drive shafts), LCAs (at the very least from the front suspension) oil cooler.  You might want the rear diff from an AWD too, so you can be certain the front and rear diff rations are identical.  Who knows what brackets and mounts you might need.  So a whole doner car might be the best option if you need to maintain RHD. Then actually making it work, that would be a whole different story.
