Sterio Problem

hey all

i have a funny problem.

when i turn the sterio on its all good but then it starts sending the sound different levels to each speaker and after a while it sends everything to the sub. when everything gets sent to the sub the amp which i have for the speakers has the red protect ligh on. but when i turn it all off it all happens again. i was moveing the amps around and trying to re organise everything and the earth to the sub for the splits i changed but put the wire to the same earth point as the battery terminal cable.

fixed the problem. I shortened all the cables and seperated the power cables from everything else. Now i find that the whole system is like 4 times louder dont know why?

Do longer cables waste power or something

Power and RCA should never be put on the same side coz of the signal interference but that wasn't your problem. It's probably louder coz you shortened the ground wires. You want the ground wires to be as short as possible to minimize short circuiting
