hey guys did a bit of a search and didnt really find anything that satisfied my questions. I wanna know what the standard r33 gtr fuel system is capable of producing in HP with the standard pump, reg and lines etc?

It all depends on the condition of the parts.

Put two GTR's next to each other and they will be completely different. The fuel pump could be tired or a small injector leak.

In a perfect world, though, pump is good for 600whp and the injectors are good for 400whp

well i have 700cc denzo PE injectors fitted mate.

Heres the deal there are 2 tuners in my area both have gtr exp and have tuned plenty of them.

One says with 2530s on stock airflow meters fuel pump and lines with nothing but injectors exaust power fc hes made up to 480rwhp on a 32gtr.

The other says i need to upgrade my airflow meters and coil packs.

ID like to know what im going to run out of.Im aiming for 400 to 450 hp atws on my 33gtr.

I have the exaust hks twin 2.5inch system with 5 inch body balistic cat 700 inj fc hks2530s

You won't make 480whp on standard AFM's. Maximum 380hp

The only thing you are going to need is AFM's and you will make your target. I don't know what that has to do with the fuel system though. You were asking about fuel system when you really wanted to know about AFM's ??

To do a correct tune - of course you'll need AFM's

2530's will do 400rwkw+, the stock AFM limits are around 300rwkw, you can always tune past to whatever figure you want - however for the common/average user this is not safe as they dont keep eye's on warnings etc.

You can make 380rwkw on a stock GTR pump, in perfect condition. A 15yr old one - high unlikely.

Stock fuel lines will see you well past 500rwkw so i wouldn't worry there

For 450rwhp you ideally need injectors, fuel pump & AFM's

Nismoid, Dan.

Good response, lots of information I'd personally been browsing for a while to find.

I just type what Nismoid tells me to.

But yeah, not sure if you're being serious or taking the piss? I was fairly sure that info was pretty easy to find. I think I have personally answered the same question at least 5 times. I'm sure Ash has done so too.

I reckon maybe 4 times?

And ye - ECU - silly me :)

Although you can do 280rwkw on a stock ECU, i did :)

Im thinking a set of rb25 green label afms. are good for about 500 hp atws.I was told that the stock gtr lines wont flow any more fuel then the gtr pump can provide down the lines so if your pump is in good order then its a waste of time upgrading the pump.

Remember RB25 AFM's require mods to the piping... they are not 'bolt on'. You need adapters, hence Nismo AFM's are the most popular choice.

IMO you should never use 2nd hand AFM's as an upgrade.

stock GTR lines will easily flow more than the pump can provide, whoever said they cannot is wrong

So you already have the ECU?

If not, and you want something PFC based - just get a DJetro and forget the AFM's.

DJetro's are usually a bit more $$$ than the normal PFC/PFCPro, BUT you dont need to buy AFM's

already have a power fc mate and a apexi intake kit.

the mods are no problems my mechanic is a fabricator aswell and does tig work.Hes made me a manifold befor custom cooler pipe kit oil seperators washerbottle tansk and so on.

it's simple, if you want to run 2530s and get anything even close to their potential out of them you need:

nismo fuel pump (recommend new power feed to pump too)

600 or 700 cc injectors

nismo or VG30 AFMs

Power FC or whatever ECU and a good tune

then you're home and hosed. no point trying to save a few lousy dollars wondering will your fuel pump die or not... nismo pumps are very reliable, well priced and so easy to fit a child could do it. and whatever AFMS you buy, my advice would be buy NEW ones. so many people ahve had problems with used ones, and with buying the 'generic' Z32/VG30 ones, so buy either genuine nissan Z32s or nismo afms. they are not that expensive.

Best place to buy the pump and airflow meters? nismos will have to do the job.

I just want it done correctly.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
