Hi, I'm Simon from Nottingham England. Just bought myself a really very nice RS4 for carting the dogs around in .... OMG What a car ! I used to play with turbo charged Rovers and have Rebuilt and re-engined a few to get some practical ponies but alas the last estate project decided to eat a piston so i looked for another car ... I don't think I'll ever go back ! Registered on here as you guys ( and girls ?) Have more knowledge about these motors and it seems you can get the parts too ! Really good forum and loads of tech knowledge kicking around. See ya around, Sy.

  Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers

  Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.

  Did anyone figure this out? Mine been doing it for years. Changed solenoid in value body along with value body and yps. Driving me crazy. 1 long 16 short flash. Thanks for any help. PXL_20250725_223632706.TS.mp4
