BW6 G is mine...

I'll go to Supercheap, Repco and Bursons tmrw to find some paint...

I may have scored a WRX tail spoiler for cheap too, hence will need to spray that also.....I'll only buy it if it looks good...I like the WRX spoilers...(low type).

I just bought some reverse sensors and need to spray them to match my car colour. Where do I find out the point code or paint colour?

As far as I am aware, I know V35s come in white, black, brilliant silver, dark silver, ocean blue and dark blue...mine is the dark blue...

Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure yours is Caribean Blue paint code possibly BW6 or BW5.

Your build plate will have this info otherwise, give us your VIN and someone will FAST it for you.

It's not Carribean Blue, I don't know what it's called but the code for mine which is the same is BW6. Look on the Silver plate under the hood.

Your painter won't care anyway from what I've found, he'll just match it up using their own methods.

Edit: Hey hang on don't you have a camera anyway?

Check here oh and post another pic of your car?

It you give your painter the proper Nissan paint code it will be easier to match. Either way, first thing he would look for would be the color code on your build plate anyway.

SKizo...looking to remove it and put in a flush camera....

The reverse sensors are an added measure....I still have 'nightmares' over my last accident (Dec 08) where i backed my 2 week new porsche into a pole...ouch! F-ing blind spots everywhere on that car...

Thanks for the help...

Not twilight either. The yanks don't have that colour in their lineup.

Back when I was try to get a nismo bumper from the states, this was a sticking point as they come prepainted. I ended up just getting it from Japan.

no wonder i couldn't find the blue in that 1st g35 link....they were all so light coloured, compared to mine...

does anyone know where to get paint spray cans, mixed to match your car colour?

thanks again...

hmm...2nd g35 link is not my car's blue....

any other help? i just wanna rock down to supercheap or repco and buy a can of paint that matches my car's colour....but seems not!

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
