Hrm.. I dont reallt hink thats legal, unless you own a copy and its for backup purposes

However I think it works much the same way, you need to have your ps2 chipped or a boot cd, and need a DVD-R, as PS2 Uses DVD's.

But, as I stated before, its not very legal, unless you own the original.

The process you are looking into is called DVD Ripping.

It's when you cut a DVD sized disc (up to 4.7gb) down to a 700Mb CD. To do this you need to either remove or downsample the large movie files in order to reduce the total size.

There are tutorials on the net, try http://www.Megagames.com. You will also need a couple of tools.

Each game has a completely different method of ripping, there is no generic 'rip-dvd-to-cd' app ... yet.

You need;

A) A DVD reader

B) A ModChip

C) Patience

Nb. It's not worth the hassle.

Get yourself a mod chip from http://www.theModShop.com

and get your games already done from these guys http://deliveryman.gameday.de

I manage the Mod Shop in Belmon (Perth, WA)(http://www.themodshop.com). I'm running a couple of specials at the moment.

Godzilla mod $100 (norm $150) - limited mod - requires a boot cd

Detonator mod $200 (norm $250) - good mod, plays DVDR & CDR - requires a boot cd

Raptor $300 (norm $400) - THA 5HIT! plays all games PS1 & PS2, no need for any boot cd. Plays copies like they were originals.

Check the web site for mod specs

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
