Close. It's a corner pole they're fitted on the front Passenger side corner of the car and acts as a reference point when you're swinging the front of the car so you know where it ends.

There were 2 kinds: one that was fixed which you could light up with a blue "neon" light and one that had an electronic motor which you could wind down like an antenna which also had a light.

It's to turn one of these on & off

The button on the right is missing and the one with the little blue light has a screw in it.

Do you know if the aerial is electrically operated??? Where can i get operating details???

On the G the R/H switch is not there and the little blue light is missing. The Silvia has the little blue light that comes on when the drivers door is opened. Guess i will have to pull the guardlining off and have a look.

I'm assuming this is regarding the button image that i put up.

The blue light in my car is for the immobiliser.

The switch that supposedly controls the light/aerial thing is the button to the right of that. I can't say for sure that is what the button does though, because the parking light thing was taken out of my car long before I got it, and that button now does nothing.

When you say the button is missing, is there just a hole there where it used to be, or is there a blanking plate or something like that in there?

There is a hole to the right and a screw in the left. In my RS4 I have a two stage electronic boost control switch and a switch for the gauge cluster lights.which sit under the single DIN radio.

Once I find out how the aerial works a standard Narva switch will fit.

    • Hey mate, really appreciate the help. Have been looking pretty extensively myself and was certain they were retro fitted, but then ended up finding a 4 door with what looks like the same side skirts or at least the closest I’ve seen. • Isn't there a PAR engineering gearset that has closer to stock ratios? And they claim they'll do whatever ratios you want.
    • And this is the the thing with a high powered, AWD, heavy car. The engine is easy, the driveline costs just as much as the engine. 🤷‍♂️ Welcome to GTRland. Whatever you think your budget is, double it. Whatever you think your timeline is, triple it.
    • I thought I'd heard rumor of someone that was developing a 6 speed kit to convert the 5 speed box. But maybe I was thinking of the PPG 6 speed sequential? That's about half the price of a car...
    • I've searched fairly extensively among Japanese websites but found nothing really like those skirts in your photo. The closest I got was Origin Labo side skirts however they look more 'complete' in that they have a finishing piece or tab at the rear of the skirt so it blends into the bodywork, unlike the one in your pic. For that reason I'd say the skirts in your pic could be adapted from another car and they didn't include that tab piece, or those skirts aren't copied from an existing skirt but an original design. Sorry I can't help out in regard to ID'ing/sourcing them
