Hey all my slave died out on me today :( had to get a tow. My question is are they easy to rebuild? and are the rebuild kits easily available? (south australia) or would it be better getting a upgraded one like a z32 (think they fit?),would like the car ready for monday so i can drive to work lol.

thanks

A slave kit is a piece of cake to install. The only problem is getting one before Monday if you really needed it. Try to contact a couple of 7 day parts stores, you never know, you may get lucky.

yeah cheers for that was gonna do the rounds and check. would getting a upgraded one be better for my ceramic cusioned button clutch? could the cylinder of worn out as the clutch is harder?

ok well found a kit at sprints $12.95 in case any1 else needed to do this, but now my master is leaking :) so that wont be done until tomorrow. Would there be anything else that would make the clutch pedal depress all the way without springing back? the spring is still connected on the pedal and none of the mounts are broken? is it just the master thats stopping this or is something else wrong?

pivot? (might be a noob question) the bit where the pedal hangs from? had the master rebuilt today but its not bleeding properly the pedal still goes all the way to the back even if you barely touch it and doesnt spring back.and when pressing on it the slave doesnt even twitch.is there a special way to bleed this system as it has that block thing that the fluid goes in then goes out in a loop and comes back and then to the slave?

ok well just had another shot at it and the master wasnt springing back the cylinder kept getting jammed at the end,it looks as if the guy who put the new seals in put ones that were too big .that would explain why no fluid was being bled through.dad is going to take it back to the guy who did it and ask him WTF? will let you know how it all works out tomorrow :S

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
