Hey guys, i've got a standard r32 GTR aluminium bonnet up for grabs. Its in very good condition in white, and is basically plug and play if your car is the factory white.

Use it as a replacement for your carbon bonnet, keep it as a spare, or even as an upgrade for your GTS-T :D

Im asking only $525 for it, preferably pick-up from a friend's workshop in Blackburn, VIC. I can even organise a respray to suit your car at a good rate if thats what you need. I will also be able to organise shipping for an interstate buyer at your expense, but I doubt it will be cheap considering the size of it.

Pics to come soon once I get a chance to drop by Blackburn. But before that, its just a standard white 32 GTR bonnet with no damage whatsoever.

Contact me by calling 0433 438 086, or drop me a text if I dont answer.

Cheers

To all the people who have asked, yes the bonnet comes with the underside lining.

Oh and please direct all enquiries and questions about the bonnet to my PM or through this thread, as the number above is no longer in use and will not be able to be contacted.

On the other hand, if you would like to arrange pick-up, please contact my mate Alan @ 0433 260 991, the owner of the workshop in which the bonnet is stored. Just hand the cash to him and pick it up :D

Just to let all interested buyers know, I went to inspect this bonnet today, and let me say, its FAR FROM 'very good condition'!

Bonnet barely has any paint left around the edges, and as well as that, countless marks, scrapes and areas where the paint is damaged!!

hey matt

could you please pm me about the condition of the bonnet in some more detail.

Not really stressed about the paint side of things just what condition is the metal in ???

cheers Bud

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
