hi all

need help? have read a lot on this topic and its not making sense to me. kind of new to this. i need a good suspension for my r34gtt. have a budget of $2500. teins or greddy's???? its my daily ride, it wont be for any tack racing or anything like that. would also like to drop the height on the car to(legal hieght not to low). have purchased whiteline adjustable swaybars, so these will be going on as well. thanks in advance ;)

Heading the right way with swaybars, Depending how stiff you would like it, Off the shelf bilsteins with springs from the whiteline catalog, or for a bit more Eibach springs and Bilsteins valved to suit.

Either setup will feel far superior to Teins, and should last a lot longer. I have bilsteins in my stagea, had them in my R31, have Tein mono flex in my 32, had koni's in my 1600.

With your budget I would be looking at the Bilstein/Eibach setup.

just saw this group buy from SydneyKid....is this still available or over. i see a lot of problems him supplying this. could someone guide me to a place that could do these at this price or simler. i would be interested in the whole package if it is available. if possible supply and fit....pm me if their is someone here on sau or know someone that could do this. thanks. :(

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
