Just made a new thread as the old one was getting cluttered. no longer a urgent sale...car i wanted sold ;)

$11,000firm no rwc.

no other offers as i'd rather keep the car

1996 Nissan Skyline r33 GTS-t series II in white, manual and 106,000kms.

Pedders lowered springs with kyb shocks (5 months old)

xforce front and dump with cat and kakimoto r cat back (very quiet and good quality so no probs with cops)

drift lip spoiler

very dark tint

alarm/immobiliser

Stock r33 wheels with roadworthy rubber (can provide impul rs 17x9 +22 wheels and tyres as shown in pics but will cost an extra $650 )

100,000km service done with dayco timing kit, waterpump, fuel filter, fresh castrol oil and oil filter

Razo Turbo Timer

it is very good condition in and out aside from a few small scratches and dints. front bumper might need a respray but isn't that bad/noticeable. will need new coilpacks also as it does the occasional miss fire at 4-5 rpms. car drives good and engine is A1 apart from that.

rwc will be negotiated but price is without rwc although i don't think the car will need much as it just passed roadworthy 5 months ago.

in Western Suburbs of VIC.

UPDATE 15/10/09

heres pics of it of how it stands. should make some points of condition of car:

the odometer and tripmeter stopped working about a month ago and is at 102500kms but should be at just over 106000kms. depending on when the car is bought i can replace the clutster with a odometer showing kms close to what they should be. the rest of the cluster works fine.

will be giving the car a service soon depending when the car is sold.

head lights arent in the best of condition with a few blemishes and marks as well as them being foggy but they are still all right as you can see in the pics.

the front bar has a few scratches, paint blemishes and stone chips but hasn't bothered me. was gonna respray but just haven't got around to it.

rear gtr style pods are noobly sprayed by me. judge urself by the photos. still looks pretty clean when given a good wash.

the eonon dvd player wont be coming with it also now due to it being a present from somebody.

still for sale guys.

the car now has good tread r32 wheels all round, coilpacks have been swapped over with super sparks so no more missfires and depending on time of sale will chuck in the pair of enkei rp01s 17x9 +22 with alright tyres.

i have managed to fix the odometer as it now works but it will stop on occasion as opposed to not moving 100%. the car shows 107000kms but should be close to 112000kms. everything on the odometer is working fine.

car has had a service about 2000kms ago with motul oil and new filter and changed gear box oil. although a very slow oil leak has developed due to needing new rocker cover gaskets. very easy fix which should cost about $300 all up according to my mechanic.

car has rego till may 2010.

chasing $10500firm without roadworthy. still looking at getting another/newer car.

    • Hi GTSBoy, Excuse my ignorance but what does a "Bad" Knee point mean ?
    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
