Stagea Gps/dvd Conversion To English/australian Maps, Melbourne Based

Is there anyone (in Melbourne) who is able to change over GPS to English and australian maps without removing the dvd player/ reversing camera in a 2003 nissan stagea 250t RSfour? It's a panasonic Display unit model no TR-T70W2 and the dvd rom is a panasonic CN DV2200.

rip the unit out. you can re wire the reverse camera.

how easy is that to do TJ?

I've had a brief look, so take the dvd system out and leave the screen in yeah?

when i got my head unit installed, they cut the amp wire's and re wired it from the cut to match the Australian plugs to go into the head unit, so im still running factory amp and speakers and sounds good enough!

so i guess the same could be dont for otherthings.

If Chris Rogers can do it, maybe he can reccomend someone down here who might be able to?

that sounds like a very good idea...

I want to get it done, and i also want to get GPS and everything hooked up...

      I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
