Not sure if this is the right section to post it, but I'm just wondering if anyone in Victoria is interested in having their B-pillars wrapped in 3m Carbon Fibre Vinyl?

The 3M Carbon Fibre Vinyl has an outdoor life of 4-5 years with sun and shine. You can even feel the weave on the vinyl!

I'd be doing the wrapping myself. I've done it for Ashneel and SS8_Gohan already and they both seem happy with it.

I was thinking if there's enough people, I can do it for $30 per pair

Looks fantastic.

I had the Nismo garnish's on mine, but I have to admit that these a very schmick!

I was just about to spend like $130 on a pair of nismo ones, but after seeing them in real life, it honestly isn't impress me. IMO, the vinyl looks a lot better than nismo :)

I'd definitely be in, even if there is no group buy i'd pay you to do it

Well I'll see if there's gonna be more people interested, but if not, you can just drop by whenever and I'll do it for you :( doesn't take long at all.

If you are buying a bulk order of this wrap I'll buy some off you, as it is not cost effective to ship a small amount over. I'll do the wrapping myself as I just have a few interior trim pieces I want to do (and the B pillars too, but mine are much smaller than Skyline ones  ).

Alright no worries, at this point in time, I'm looking to buy a 1.2m x 10m roll in a couple of weeks :)

Also, I've also started to wrap my mate's Liberty and it looks awesome :P

carbon bonnet Charles ! test ya skills !

very shortly you car will look like a honda yo !

Then I can be one of those fully sick honda boys waiting for their vtec to kick in y0!

But nah, on the serious note, I thought about wrapping my bonnet, but I don't want to attract too much attention from the popos, as my car already stands out like dog balls, don't wanna add to it lol.

how much would it cost us for the materials, plus can u do the inside interior with that too?

hmm what you mean for materials? For your b pillars?

And yes I can do interior, click on the link on my signature to see everything that I did for my car.

Did the whole centre console and door handles and mirror etc.

Looks good Charles. Just wondering if you have any info about what to do when the vinyl starts expiring. Does it peel off or just fade? Is it easy to remove to replace a new layer? Or would you just wrap another layer onto the old one?

Well 3M stated that the vinyl can last about 4-5 years when it's outdoor (exterior) and about 12 years indoor (interior). So when it reaches its lifespan, it will just start to fade.

So then you can just use a heat gun to peel it off, then apply it again :D As the vinyl comes with an adhesive backing, it may leave a little bit of glue residue, but it can be polished off easily.

Removing the vinyl is easy, as I've done it so many times already, because I keep doing my interior parts until I get it perfect

i want that knee pad!

Lol, get your own pad

I'm interested in this Charles. Perhaps I can come on the weekend and get them done?

Yeah no worries man, you can just come drop your parts off and pick it up a few days later, you can also have a look at what I've done for my car :P

If you want to come on the weekend, gimme a call on 0434 502 855 before you come.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
