knore
Hey, Whos used fulcrum for their suspension upgrades/fixes? I know they stock goood stuff, and they have a good rep, what packages are available from them? Im going to spend about $1000 to upgrade all the sway bars, bushes, radius rods, strut bars etc Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/30636-fulcrum/ Share on other sites
4 Doorz
stuff is good, labour is too expensive - maybe by goods off them and fit yourself? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/30636-fulcrum/#findComment-620990 Share on other sites
jlnewton
stuff is good, labour is too expensive - maybe by goods off them and fit yourself? I agree. Labour far too expensive. Most of the gear you are getting is easy to install yourself. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/30636-fulcrum/#findComment-621097 Share on other sites
GTRman1992
I also agree. They quoted $400 to change my shocks over, did it in the driveway in less than an hour instead. knore
Ok, but i want to get a Full Kit installed like a full Whiteline pro/sport kit etc I want strut bars.. sway bars, bushes .. everything i can get for $1000. And personally, ide like to get it all put in and then a full wheel balance and alignment done. Im sure i can install many of the parts myself, but i have 1K to spend if that gets me what i want then ide rather not do any work Anyone got a full kit from fulcrum before? ill be taking it there in about 10 days Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/30636-fulcrum/#findComment-622076 Share on other sites
jlnewton
I bought my bilstein shocks and front whiteline camber kit through there, prices were ok. Installed it myself and got a wheel alignment straight after, saved nearly $500 by taking out their labour. Enough to buy front and rear strut bars, pineapples and adj caster. slip
buy the whiteline stuff from whiteline, and get a mechanic to install if you are not confident, and then get someone to set it up if its adjustable. Was not impressed with the mark up they tried to put on kmac strut tops, which i just bought direct from kmac in the end. Bit of a price difference. (ps, kmac strut tops suck) swaybars, strut tops, strut brace, all easy to install. Even springs/shocks in 33/32 are easy. jlnewton
Or go armed with a whiteline price catalogue so they can't markup the price like I did. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/30636-fulcrum/#findComment-623570 Share on other sites
