Off Button Jammed With Airconditioner

Hey i tried doing some searches but couldnt find anything so i apologize in advance if theres already a topic on this. Recently i have no idea how, but the off button for my airconditioner in my r33 gtst 1995 has been jammed and i cannot turn off the airconditioner.

Is there a easy solution to this or should i take it to a mechanic? Also just a sidenote i'm not all that good with cars but any help will be useful thanks alot in advance

It's really quite easy to fix, and there is in fact a guide in the tutorials section that covers it.

Basic steps are:

Remove dash surrounds etc

Unscrew climate control unit

Take off front

Take out the 'pole' that sits under the button

Make sure you can line everything up ok

Superglue the pole to the back of the button

Allow to dry

Reinsert the pole into the hole

Reassemble

hey thanks for the help but im not too good with cars and dont wanna stuff anything up. I've tried looking for the guide in the tutorial section and cannot seem to find it ? if its not too much trouble can you give me a link to it ? thanks alot and sorry for the inconvenience

Hey Johnny lol it's not a problem mate.

It's very easy to do, put side half a saturday seeing as it's your first time, but all you really need is a couple of screw drivers and some super glue.
