Hello all!

My wagon had a small accident; i won't restore, you can have it. =\

The shiny wheels off the wagon is also available for sale.

Car details:

1990 R31 Skyline GX Wagon S3.

Transmission - manual.

Engine - unbreakable RB30E.

Colour - beige.

Mileage - Odo stopped working about a month before i quit driving it at 454666.

Registration - not any more, last time registered October 2009.

Modifications - none.

Accident detail: 20-30 km/h hit with a left hand side guard into another car. Guard, left light and bumper are smashed, the rest is all fine. Panel beaters confirmed the engine compartment isn't moved. Car starts and drives ok, except wheel alignment ofc. I have pictures and can explain how good/bad it was in person, to get clearer picture.

Car history: Got it in 2006 with 405K on the clock and was told it was one lady owner from Moss Vale. Used it as an every day vehicle to go to work/studies/everywhere. Serviced as much as i could afford each year, parts that were new but now are about 2-3 y.o. include exhaust pipe, front brake rotors, clutch kit. And some other minor stuff that i have receipts for.

One could probably want it for parts, if you want to register it, panel repairs will be about over 1K (estimated at panel shop).

Wheel details:

The wheels are 16" 5 spoke Speedy custom made for the R31 GX by Bob Jane T-Mart.

5JJ +30 offset and The stud pattern is 4 studs at 114.3mm (PCD 4.5) Suiting all 4-hole R31's.

The wheels are about a year and a half old, of which about a year they were on the car, and half a year stored. they done about 15K km. Or a bit more, can't remember.

The tyres are Michelin Pilot Primacy, 205/55 91V. the tyres done about 10K km from new, and they were on a different car. All wheels are balanced.

Wheels have a couple of "failed parking" marks here and there, but generally are very good condition. I think.

Price for the car: let's start with 400.

Price for the wheels: 800 no more no less. I think it's fare, because i got the set for 1600.

Note: the wheels are sold separately, they are not mounted on the car. The car has steel 14" wheels with some random tyres ( different condition, but passed the rego test in oct)

Location: NSW, Sydney, Northern Beaches.

Hello people!

---------------------------------------

A message to the moderators: can this be renamed or something? I have read the rules that say the thread should stay even if the car is gone. Well, this thread becomes messy. Can I at least edit the top post saying SCROLL DOWN for new info? Thanks!

---------------------------------------

Yeah, the car is gone long time ago, but the wheels stayed. I kept then on a balcony for a while, but then realised they are getting ants and plant stuff all over them and basically are loosing the shape. Kept them under the tent, so it was waterproof, but still somehow it happened. So I moved them back to house and cleaned them. Therefore, I think the price of $250 is good for them. Because I paid for them $800 back then...

Wheel details:

The wheels are 16"x7, five-spoke Speedy alloys, custom made for my old R31 GX by Bob Jane T-Mart back in some 2008 or something. 4 wheels.

+25 offset and The stud pattern is 4 studs at 114.3mm (PCD 4.5) Suiting all 4-hole R31's. Will probably fit some late 80's and early 90's rice-mobiles, such as Toyota Celica-Supra, Corolla and AE86, perhaps some Lancers as well, not sure. Maybe an old Barina or Charade too.

The wheels are about a year and a half old, of which about a year they were on the car, and half a year stored. they done about 15K km. Or a bit more, can't remember. -- that is still true, but considering that was said in 2010, this is now 3 years older. Yes, I was too busy to sell the wheels for the past 3 years while they were stored, lol! Also as I said, they are a bit affected by insects (tracks inside the paint). O_o

The tyres are off the wheels and are pretty bold. But if you need to have some tires on the wheels for some reason, I can put them on for you (+$20 for balancing), or I will give them to you separately, as you wish. But be warned, that the set of tyres I have are totally bad and not good for driving on the road, will suit only skidding activities.

Wheels have a couple of "failed parking" marks here and there, but generally are very good condition. I think. -- yeah, the condition degraded over the years, but they are still pretty good imho. They are wheels after all, and those ant tracks are visible only from the close distance.

Pics coming up soon as well. Although it would be nice to place all the above text into the first post, and get rid of the car info and dead links. Moderators, anyone?

Location: NSW, Sydney, Northern Beaches. Either pickup from Warringah Mall or I will deliver them to your door Sydney-wide, just pay me the petrol there and back. I could try shipping them, but it is somewhat complicated and extra spendings will occur.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
