Hi,

I have a '94 Australian-delivered 200SX for sale.

I've only owned this car for a few months now,but due to changing road conditions in my area, and an upcoming employment change,I'm now looking to sell the car.

The car was originally an automatic, and was converted to manual before I bought it.

It's is a mid-spec (sports) model, and has had most of the luxury spec model's parts fitted such as the factory fog lamps and front bumper lip.

Distance travelled on the odometer is ~121,000km.

Colour is Emerald green.

The parts list of what I've fitted to the car since I bought it is as follows:

Personal steering wheel on HKB boss kit with adj. spacer,Pod filter on HKS adapter,Nismo oil cap,Factory luxury lip, ebay special front strut brace,Just jap camber arms, radius rods, traction rods, toe control arms, front and rear sway bars,Tein tie rods and ends,Tein adj. camber tops, clear front indicators and crystal park lights,LED globes in no. plate lights and park lights,JDM fog lamps and factory switch stalk,JDM silvia floor mats,Clear h'lamp lenses onto JDM lights,R32GTR front callipers w/DBA 4000series discs and DS2500 ferodo pads,TRW rear pads,CES split dump pipe,X force 3" metal cat,Fujitsubo cat-back exhaust.

Shocks are pedders and koni, with kings springs. Side skirts and rear pods are unknown, possibly Edge copies.

The car has had an FMIC in it previous to when I bought it,it's currently fitted with an S15 SMIC.

Some other interesting parts I have on hand but have not been fitted to the car as of yet,and can be negotiated into the sale for an extra cost:

S14A JDM factory aero rear wing,JDM rear bumper,Greddy hard intake pipe,Alloy subframe locking collars,Aluminium underdrive pulleys,a buddy club copy front bumper lip and a brand new power fc and commander.

I also have a few spare std parts which can go with the car for no extra cost such as headlights, park lights, control arms,A damaged SR20DET and such. I'll throw in whatever I can dig up in my garage that is for an S14.

The bad parts:

*The sunroof on the vehicle is not in good order. I was planning to remove it's mechanism and seal up the panel but have not had time to do this as of yet. the roof does open and close, but the mechanism is damaged and is not smooth to operate.

*The spiral cable is broken. a horn button was fitted on the column surround by the previous owner.

*The body condition reflects the car's age. it's not a show car,and has a few marks and small dings. Nothing terrible, just what you'd expect from a '94 model that's likely spent most of it's life parked on the street.

Asking price is $7000,which can be negotiated up or down depending on parts removed,or added to on top of what's currently on the car. I am a licensed mechanic and can fit any of the parts on the list above for a small fee if desired.

Lowballers will be banned. I have NO tolerance for bullshit atm. I've been totally honest about the car,and I expect to not be forced to suffer stupidity to make a sale.

The price will NOT be lowered any further without parts coming off of the car.

If you're not genuine about wanting to buy the car, don't bother contacting me. I will not sell it to you for $5k because your uncle's nephew's cousin's former roommate saw one last weekend for that price,so don't even try that crap.

I AM negotiable, but don't expect a massive price drop just for the sake of it.

I'm not interested in sawps,or shipping the car interstate unless there's cash put down up front.

Car is located in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

If you're interested, please let me know,

Justin...

Just to reiterate,I'm NOT looking to swap this car. I've already bought another car to replace this one,I just need this one gone.

First in with cash takes it.

Hi Nick,

I'm happy to sell anything listed that's not already fitted to the car. I'd want $200 for the JDM bar. it's currently red and is in good condition, bar a few screw holes on the underside from where it had rear pods attached to it by the previous owner. nothing that you couldn't weld/putty up when respraying it to suit your car.

Pm me if you're interested and I'll give you details for courier pickup and bank deposit.

Justin...

Avalon, intrested, but i dont want to mess you around.

Selling my Mitsubishi Legnum atm, this car would be perfect hey.

Might have to come have a look at this.

I have a guy coming from newcastle to look at it tomorrow night, and it ends on ebay 2hrs after that,so if it's still available after that, you're more than welcome to come and check it out.

Justin...

The guy who's coming tomorrow sounds pretty keen, but then,so did the previous guy who looked at it last week and then worked out that he couldn't afford it,and there have been two others who made appointments to come see it,and then didn't show up.

There are 7 people watching it on ebay,so who knows?

Best bet would be to either get in early tomorrow,or to wait and see what happens tomorrow night and either pm or call me after 8.30pm. I will know by then if it'll still be available or not.

Justin...

All the camber, toe, caster gear on the rear.

Do you have the front all setup like that too?

The front has just jap adj. rose jointed radius rods, tein camber tops and tein extra lock strengthened tie rods.

    • sold listed as a Tomei LSD 1.5 Way For 1998+ Nissan Skyline ER34 25GT RB25DE w/Open R200 https://www.ebay.com/itm/174006114594?campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms=&campid=5338967980&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&toolid=10050&customid=71883f2ccc571356e0a757bc7adfdde2&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&loc_physical_ms=108689&loc_interest_ms= it went in like butter all gears, alignment, back lash etc, rotation and clearances correct, and if rolling all rotates smooth and free when coasting down road , clutch in or out over 10 mph smooth... its the binding, clunking and jerking from a stop that is most concerning, also seems like its going to tear the tires off in 10 miles of normal road driving.
    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
