Hey Guys,

Have decided to sell my beloved R33 Gtst. Its a 1993 series 1.

I have owned the car for nearly 4 years. I am the second owner in Australia. It had one owner in Japan. Car was imported in 1998 by Jappo Donks in Wodonga Victoria. Car was imported with 30,000kms on the clock and in mint condition. (car now sits at 128,200kms) It was imported by a very close family friend who unfortunately passed away around 3-4 years ago. I purchased the car from the deceased estate. Ive done about 30,000kms since ive owned it.

I fell in love with the car when I first saw it and its this car that got me into Japanese Imports, mainly the Nissan Skyline. So as you can tell this car holds a special place in my heart and has a lot of sentimental value to me. It has taken a lot of thought for me to decide to sell this car. Even as I write this I still want to keep the car, but basically in a financial sense it is the most logical for me to sell it in the situation im in now. I purchased a brand new Proton Gen2 for daily duties and city driving, so the Skyline barely gets driven. On top of that any promotions in my job would mean a company car, so the skyline would get driven even less. It pains me to see it just sitting around gathering dust so I would really like to pass it on to someone that will drive it, enjoy it and treat it as well as I have.

I am originally from Albury/Wodonga. Im now in Melbourne. So the car has spent two years in my hometown where it was driven regularly, to pretty much just sitting around for the last year ive been in Melbourne.

I have full Import Documentation of the car, unlike a lot of r33's these days. I have all receipts for any work done to the car. It has never missed a beat in my ownership and nothing has failed or broken on me. The paint is in good condition as well, and there is still a lot of depth in the paint. The car is over 15 years old now so obviously the paint isnt showroom condition either. Has never been in an accident of any kind.

This car is in better condition than most r33's ive come across, especially in Melbourne. The car has gotten many comments from people working on the car and passers by saying how good of a condition the car is in.

Like most cars on here, it gets serviced every 5000kms, using only quality fluids. Since ive lived in Melbourne its been serviced by Chasers Motorworks in Footscray. All mechanical work was carried out by Dr. Drift in Brooklyn. Car was serviced at Roennfeldt Automotive in Albury when I lived there. Can supply phone numbers and contacts for anyone that wants to get in touch to confirm the state of the vehicle.

Things ive done to the car include:

- Apexi Power FC with Hand Controller

- 3 inch Stainless steel exhaust from the turbo back including Metalcat Catalyic Converter

- Bosch 040 Fuel Pump

- Front Mount Intercooler

- Pod Filter enclosed in Custom CAI Box

- BC Racing Coilovers - Installed and Tuned at Centreline Suspension in Thomastown

- Front Strut Brace

- Sony Xpold Head Unit with Sony Xplod Front Speakers

- Greddy Turbo Timer

- Recaro Sr3 Bucket Seats with Genuine Recaro Rails

- Stern 17" Wheels. 235's on the front, 255's on the rear

- Tinted Windows all round

- Replaced Gearstick and Handbrake surrounds with quality leather replacements

- Nismo Gearknob

- Gktech Deep Dish Steering wheel with Autobots Horn

- Re-gassed the air-con, Now its icy cold

I have dyno sheets from Dr. Drift where it made 199 rwkws and 500nms of torque. The car was re-dynoed about a month later after I had replaced the old catalyic converter (was an x-force item) to a Metalcat catalyic converter where it then made 205 rwkws.

Like most ads you've read, the car gets baby'ed and treated extremely well. As much as my Girlfriend doesnt like the car for all the time and money I spent on it, she doesnt want me to sell it because she knows how much I love it haha.

Car doesnt draw any negative attention. I live in St Kilda and the car has been driven in many police "hot spots" such as Acland St, Chapel St, Princes Highway and in the city, all either during the day or night and havent once been pulled over or harassed by the police. Been through multiple RBTs and havent been looked at twice.

Car is currently registered in NSW, and it expires in May.

PRICE: $14,000 ONO

Im sure there are things ive left out here, but its all I can think of at the moment. Im in no hurry to sell as I dont need the money. Open to negotiation though of course. Any Low ball offers will just be ignored.

Sorry that the pics are a bit glary.

Best to reach me on my mobile, as opposed to PM.

Michael - 0408169306

Cheers Guys!

Bump for today!

forgot to add car will also come with a type m front bar in the same two tone and a carbon fibre grill. was going to put these on but never got round to it. The type m bumper has the middle cut out for the intercooler as well.

Car also has all stock skyline mats in good condition.

Have a heap of other parts free for the buyer if they want any

-Stock seats

-Stock steering wheel

-Stock Cd/Tape player

-Stock Suspension with lowered Pedders Springs on the front

-Apex'i Muffler

-Oval Muffler that bolts straight onto the current exhaust system.

-Another recaro drivers side rail and an unknown jap rail for the passenger side. (Both for the Sr3's)

I keep forgetting things! haha

Also has nismo tinted side indicators if you cant already see from the pics.

Should also add this car is un-encumbered. I own it and the bank doesnt. Not one cent owing on this car in any shape or form.

Up she goes!

Bump for the day!

    • Nah, they'll do it without a receipt, tell em roughly when it was, that it was cash, youll likely only get store credit, but that gets you some dollars towards the newer better shovel, or other item you need/want later.   Still take it back and have a crack at returning it.
    • Nah. Was just wondering if you were having a small stroke or if there was some slur/gaf/inside joke that I wasn't aware of.
    • That was a fark up, it's Salamanca Place I was thinking of. And now I'm curious as to what potential slur/gaf I have caused with Salamander Road, ha ha!
    • Actually everyone on the roads was really well behaved. The only person that did any minor tailgating was a local hoon in a Turbo Focus. Unfortunately we weren't going the same way so there was no grand initial D touge battle. Lots of people pulled over and let me through. The amount of "Hey man nice car, omg skyline, nice 34 man woo" was suprising. Like really suprising. Like almost annoying. My partner was obviously surprised, she'd never seen anyone in the real world point out the car/like the car/want to chat about the car before, so to have like 3 people per day mention it was notable, I could finally say SEE? SOMEONE THINKS THEY'RE COOL. Everyone was also pretty suprised about the weather. Every day was dry and about ~13-14C. Mount Wellington had a sign that said they close the gates at 9pm and I was heading up there at about ~7:30. It was VERY apparent that conditions were getting significantly worse by the minute on the way up and down. The road on the mountain was terrible though, it's no driving road. I have various suspension related questions now. Luckily it was only about 20 minutes from where we were staying to the top of the mountain as said Google maps. We only had the 2 nights in Hobart. We went to the Farm Gate Market though which was really good - And went down to the Hastings Thermal springs/caves down there during the day. I'd definitely be up for going back again, so luckily there's a few more sights yet to see. Didn't get to do the west coast/queenstown/cradle mountain so this was supposed to be a 'scouting' trip anyway of sorts if I were to one day do/take part in/organize a more car-focused trip. As for the boat, it wasn't bad. Well it was bad, but not in the way you're thinking. We did the night trip which leaves at 6:45 (though you have to be there ~2 hours earlier) and arrives the next morning at about 6am. There is nothing to do on the ship. If you plan accordingly and bring a book/tablet/show to watch/charger you can just chill out, take some Travacalm and just sleep through it. The food there is an extremely basic buffet that costs $32 a plate, or $14 for a $3 pizza. The way back we had a travel kettle and a few different types of cup noodles and made our own tea/coffee in the room. This was a far superior way to do it. At the very least book one of the rooms with beds. I guess as we were in the off season we didn't have room mates. You get an option for rooms with 4 beds (2x bunks) or a room with just the two bottom beds. There's also some option for a deluxe queen bed but it's much pricer. We've been on sleeper trains in Asia before so we figured this is similar (and it was)
