I WANT THIS CAR GONE

i am in sydney n.s.w

I AM SELLING A 1988 NISSAN CEFIRO A31

IT HAS (OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD)

ENGINE

* a rb25 head on a rb20 bottom i have been told (2.4l stroked?)

* gtr crank

* bigger injectors

* after market cams (dont know dont ask plz come look)

* custom

.aluminum intake

. intercooler

. radiator

. intercooler piping

.plenum (hks copy ive been told)

.bigger throtle body (not sure how big)

* it has a POWER ENTERPRIZE turbo (ballbearing) 550hp

*the body has been spot welded and pop rivoted for strength

.coilovers fully adjustable (bit leaky)

.2way diff

.33 gearbox with short shift kit (gear box feels awesome!!!)

.heavy dutie clutch (dont know what but hard to use)

THE BODY

i think the kit is a copy of an autech kit and being honest its not in the greatest shape

there are dents on the driver side door and skirt and the thing needs a respray BADLEY!!! oh and the window has a crack in it too!!

some F#@$ER tried too steal this car so the door locks are busted and the ignition barrel is gone!!

the guards are rolled

it has some old sparco wheels with a bit of dish on the i also have other i will throw in if i et the desired price

the car is white and had a purple pearl through it at one point

also has gtr seat and momo steering wheel and nismo gear knob

thats al i can be botherd writing so if anyone is interested im looking for around

$6500 neg

i know the car isnt in that greater knick but needs a good home and is VERY QUICK and a dream at track days

there is no rego but it can be organised at buyers expense or we can work somthing out

i will SWAP with cash adjustments if you have somthing i like (daily driver) but i NEED cash as i iam moving house soon.

HISTORY

THIS CAR WAS IMPORTED TO AUTOSTYLE IN SYDNEY IN LATE 2004 , IT WAS BOUGHT BY A

MATE WHO USED IT AS A DAILY DRIVER FOR 6MONTHS IT WAS THAN SOLD

TO ANOTHER FREIND WHO DROVE IT FOR 3MONTHS AND LOST HIS LICENCE FOR 2YRS WHERE

IT SAT IN A GARAGE UNTOUCHED , IN LATE 2007 IN CAME INTO MY POSSESION

WHERE IT TOOK ME ANOTHER FURTHER 3MONTHS TO GET THE REGO AND THE USUALS

TOGTHER , IT HAS BEEN A DAILY DRIVER SINCE AND HAS SEEN 6 TRACK DAYS IN 2008

THE REGO RAN OUT END OF 2009 WHERE I WAS UN AWARE AND WAS PULLED OVER AND

FINED FOR DRIVING UNREGISTERED IT SAT OUT THE FRONT OF A FREINDS PLACE

FOR A TOTAL OF 2 WEEKS AND SOME ONE BROKE INTO IT AND COULD NOT START IT DUE TO A

BATTERY BEING ABSENT , THE CAR WAS THAT PUT INTO A FREINDS DRIVE WAY

AND HAS JUST HAD NEW SPARKPLUGS AND OILCHANGE , THIS CA NDS A GOOD HOME AND

    • roof rail delete used to be a thing, they were made locally for a while too
    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps  
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car. 
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
