Marcus89
Did it sound weird/different? If it drops a cylinder usually starts sounding like a rex and running kinda rough Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/317597-power-drop-in-rb25det/#findComment-5192226 Share on other sites
ScreamerNewbie
no still sounds the same and still running the same, just feels like less power, not a shit load less but it feels like it has dropped Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/317597-power-drop-in-rb25det/#findComment-5192630 Share on other sites
WYTSKY
2 things I can think of are: heat soak from the engine bay that warms the intake pipes...when they get warm/hot feels much less responsive and it does loose some power.. but obviously the next day should be back to normal... or the option I think is more likely: slightly popped cooler pipe, revving right out= full boost = highest pressure you've set and the most likely time a cooler pipe would pop off... but sometimes they don't completely pop off... so go around, check all the silicon joins and make sure theres no leaks.. gl, Adam Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/317597-power-drop-in-rb25det/#findComment-5193213 Share on other sites

WYTSKY
awsome cheers ill have a look, that could deffenatly be it, as it was kinda sudden. thanks your welcome. you may need to double double check because you obviously can't hear it with the motor on... if your pretty sure that was it theres a few ways to check: 1. a little soapy water on silicon joins 2. or, theres kits you can buy or make up involving a compressor and what it essentially does is you put a cap on at the end of the intercooler piping, ie at throttle body or begginning of turbo outlet or between what ever part you think may be leaking and have a compressor blow into it with your motor off so it is quiet and you will definetly be able to hear the hissing if theres a leak... you can also make this up yourself, if you youtube mighty car mods theres an episode where they make one.... couldnt find it, but if you look for more then 10 seconds you should find it..
