hi guys .

Im really new to this im just wondering if anybody can tell me how to disconnect the multi stage boost on my r33 gtst?

3 different people have told me different things and now im really confused .

as far as i can gather i need to cut the black wire from the plug that goes to the solenoid but what im confused about is which end needs to go to earth out on the body is it the end that comes back from the solanoid or the end that comes from the engine / ecu ?

i would really really appreciate any advice that anyone can give me thanks matti .

read through what jonno has posted, it will tell you all you need to know. to give you the general idea of it though

start with exhaust. full turbo back. don't bother doing much until that is done.

then get a better quality panel filter or a pod in an enclosure

then up the boost to about 10psi

the front mount intercooler and raise the boost to about 12psi.

ok sorry guys i said completly standard it has a straight through exhaust and 5 inch back box ,

my next idea was to get a apexi pod filter and a twin port turbo elbow for it .

I also did the high boost wire off the solenoid yesterday it made quite alot of difference ... noticibly anyway.

something i dont understand though is on the standard boost gauge what shoud it go up to when the car is boosting hard because mine seems to go

upto the line back from +7 which sort of indicates to me maybe the boost is not as high as it should be standard anyway.

anybody know ? ... and if it is a bit low how easy is it to turn it up a bit and can you do it yourself ?

thanks if anybody knows !
