Yellow Sticker!

A friend of mine got his R33 stickered n they were giving him shit about his suspension height just like you but after a while they chilled on it and said it would pass with that height. (about the same as yours i think).

From memory my mate also let the time lapse from it being a yellow sticker to unregistered so im not sure if that made a difference. Or they just thought they would focus on the important things- like the massive high-mount HKS turbo or or the blow off valve that at 20 odd pounds of boost sounded like darth vader in a reallly bad mood...

tho just to check, even tho ur body kit is 150mm, there isnt a part of your exhaust that is lower than that n picking on is it?

but yeah, cant really give any further advice on how to get past this height problem.

Why don't you try asking these questions in the WA area?? we have a member who actually works for DPI and he should be able to point you in the right direction in regards to making a complaint. There have also been a few WA members that were hard done by and have successfully had their complaints addressed.

ok, well anyways, garry from the welshpool tech centre is helping me out nice guy! he said to get a piece of wood 100mm thick and get sweep it under th car and if it hits anything then it's too low, if not call him back and he's "have a chat" with the guy that won't pass it )

At the pits, they ask you to drive over, and there is a 100mm block fixed into the ground.

So you're vehicle needs to be 100mm with YOU in it. Sure, and your body weight will make a difference.

i didn't take it my mum did and they drove it. no one saw the "measuring" and he's not giving it away..

Dont take this the wrong way, but from the sounds of it it doesnt sound like your car should be on the road.

I know it sucks being poor and young, but you have to understand that for the safety of everyone else on the road you have to play by the rules. If your car is bleeding fluids everywhere there is a chance it could start a fire. If it has a bonnet scoop then it means that the bonnet has been cut and is also probably not safe in a crash (depending on the quality of the work).

don't take this the wrong way, u sound like someone that works at the pits and fails old cars coz they don't look "nice"

i have a drip of oil not a gush, my cvs went hence "powerstereing fliud" and a had a crack on a lower radiator hose that was like 1 cm long and had to ordered in, the hose was about 10cms long and hard to get to.

i wouldn't call that "bleeding fluids everywhere".

ok...car didn't pass!!

i don't think this guy knows how to drive a manual coz he said my clutch isn't operating correctly, ummm it is! taking it back to the clutch place and getting them to test it then write up a letter explaining that this guy is a douch! the clutch is 2 months old! my bonnet scoop needs to be sealed to my engine bay!! HOW THE f*k DO I OPEN MY BONNET????!!! my car is too low....the lowest point on my car is 150mm! car too low or numbers on measuring tape too small?? my seal belt clip doesn't work...it's missing the black plastic shell and it does work...maybe this guy doesn't know how to use a seat belt aswell! oil leaks, power steering leaks, now there's something viable! and exhaust leak...oh well shit happens! windscreen wipers not operating correctly, well they operate just fine, didn't realise there was another use for them...

well there's the list that i got pinged for....oh and i have a spilt radiator hose that leaks when hot, hahahaha they didn't notice that!!! bahhahahah, oh my god! the last time it was over the pits i get (10 months ago) - 1 indicator brighter then the other, 1 mm of tint missing front rear left small window, dirt (not oil dirt) on the bottom of the engine! well i'm getting the message, they don't want my car on the road, well guess what, it's staying on the road! maybe i'll put a turbo in it to piss em off

ok, suggestions on sealing bonnet scoop to engine bay??
