bigger fuel pump

aftermarket ecu or something like a nistune

bigger injectors

z32 afm (not to worry if your going for a map sensor from something like a vipec)

bigger turbo

3 or 3 1/2 inch exhaust

FMIC

either a metal intake pipe or do the mod to keep the standard one from closing

a boost controller

probably need new coil packs

id be changing the spark plugs too

all new hose clamps - the standard ones will blow off

pod filter

ive probably forgotten a few things but yeah that just the engine, at that power level ud want to look into suspention & brakes too or atleast brakes, at 450hp a rebuild with forgies would be a good idea or just drive it till it blows then rebuild, standard rb25 will do a reliable 400rwhp

hey all

im just woundering the best way to make about 400~450hp, from a stock r33 :D money is no limit, but i dont want much more power then that

cheers :)

what'd you do win lotto or something? wish i had no limit on money lol.

Walk into a workshop, tell them the exact same thing

Drop a deposit, pick up car and pay balance

lol if only it was that easy!!!

There's no fun in that at all though! Half the fun of building a fun/fast car is failing the first time then fixing something yourself and reaping the benefits!

He doesnt have a budget and this would clearly be the best way

Giving it to a professional to do it right the first time so you dont have to spend $$ and do it again ;)

He will reap the said benefits when his driving the same car that feels totally different :)

    • Quick update, finally got an hour or two on a weekend where there wasn't shit weather, no sick kids, people visiting our house or had to work. Visited me old folks and the skyline...dropped  $10 of 98 in the tank and a brand new SCA shitter battery in. Cranked over a bunch of times but didn't fire up....pretty sure it's not getting any fuel. Gonna try some of the stuff suggested above, next time I make it over there.
    • @GTSBoyas luck would have it and it's legit the only part of this story that goes my way, I already had the liner out to retrim! So much lucky!
    • Drill out the subframe bushes, replace them, same with the diff bushes.
    • Sane enough. Remove the roof liner, because the acid will go everywhere.
    • Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help and experienced opinions.  I have spent a lot of my life working on boats so I'm pretty good with fibreglass. I'll take everybody's advice in here;  I'll cut a little more of the 2nd layer away as it's a bit crunchy rust and also it's sitting high now. Then I'll wire brush it all a bit to get off anything loose, then I'll soak the bejesus out of it all in rust converter. I'll make sure to get a little hose piece and feed it into all the holes and gaps between the roof layers. Then I'll fibreglass up the holes.  Then I'll get a pallet of filler and mix it with 3 buckets of hardener and hope that is enough to build up the roof corner.  Does that sound sane? Is one type of filler better than others for this?
