Electrical Help Needed...

hi guys,ive got an r32 gtst with an rb26 fitted,all has been good until now,whats happining it when the ignition is off the computer is still on,lights and all,ive followed wiring for 2 days and cant find the problem,even with the starter motor,alternator and all the engine wiring disconnected the computer stays on,its doing my head in,i had it running the other day and when i turned it off it took a few seconds to stop and noticed the starter motor is red hot from staying on,any ideas?

sounds like something is shorted to a power wire to me? i could be wrong but thats what it sounds like
