Hi Guys,

Selling my precious amp to fund my S15 build. :D

The amp is a Rockford Fosgate 1501BD competition amp.

The amp was used for about 12-13 months, then I took it out and sold the car.. Since then it has sat in the cupboard, and because it was such a good amp, I never wanted to sell it..

Now I'm older, and prefer KW instead of DB, I have decided to part with it so I can spend the money on the S15.

If you know your amps, you would know what a monster this thing is.. I used to run 2 x RF subs, and the gain was never adjusted from the minimum amount as I didnt want to blow the subs!

These amps are used in DB competitions for some serious bass. :D

If you are looking for bass and have a sub that can stand the punishment from this amp, then I suggest you pick this up before its gone!

Specs from RF website:

# 750 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms

# 1500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms

# Class bd technology

# requires 4-gauge power and ground leads and a 150-amp fuse and fuse holder

# selectable 50-250 Hz variable low-pass crossover, 24 dB/octave

# MEHSA mounting technology increases the heat transfer from the MOSFET output devices to the heat sink, for higher power output, lower operating temperatures, and greater reliability

# TOPAZ noise-killing differential inputs eliminate 80% of ground loop noise

# preamp outputs for easy connection to a second amplifier

# wired remote control of Punch Bass (0-18 dB centered at 45 Hz) — gives you fingertip control of your bass impact

# subsonic filter removes frequencies below the range of human hearing for increased efficiency

# bd Sync — allows two identical Class bd amps to be tied together to power one woofer

The amp is available for pickup from Mill Park, Victoria on weekends & after hours. Or in Laverton North during the weekdays and business hours..

I can post, but the amp is very heavy and I think you would pay a fair bit in freight!

Guys, you must use a minimum of 4 gauge cable to run this amp, it is very powerful, so if you are running 8 gauge, you will need to buy new power cables. I recommend 0 gauge, then splitting it to 4 gauge directly into the amp. A capacitor would be great. Specs suggest 4 farad..

Have a read before buying! You wont be dissapointed!!
