Guys my car has had a misfire prob for a while now... but only used to happen on a frosty morning and the prob was gone not long after,

yesterday whilst talking about how the problem had vanished (Jynxd hard) the problem re occurred while the car was idling the car at the time was at normal running temp and had been driven most of the day (just cruzing) now the missfire is im 95% sure is coming from all 6 cyl

Things to know

Sparkplugs new

Coilpacks new

Sparks have been pulled out while problem was occurring (while engine off for smart asses) and found no moisture at all plugs are fine.

has been hooked up to ultrascann and no error codes were found car has not stopped misfiring since last night and i dont think it will...

What is my next approach ?

I have 1 idea... but not sure... im assuming the Ignition moduel may be shot... can ne1 with an rb20 moduel please let me borrow it for 5 mins ? as i test to see if its the problem ?

Thanks guys ..

Im 90% sure it would be your igniter. My rb20 did the same thing, it was really hard to start, but shortly after, the car didnt start at all and the first thing i replaced was the igniter. ran perfectly after.

You should also consider a faulty injector, given all the plugs were dry when you pulled them out. If it was spark, there would have been 1 wet plug. Check all the injector connectors for white/green corrosion :verymad:

Thanks

true that, Possibly even send them in to get cleaned if you have the time.
