Rb26 - Itentify This Hose

Can someone identify the hose connected to the top of the transfer case in the pic?

Should it be connected to something?

that looks like the front diff and it is the air breather hose so when diff heats up the expanding air can get out without blowing the seal and should be connecteed to the little steel loop to stop water getting in
