prdreilly
How do your V35 tyres wear? Evenly, unevenly (if so unevenly by a lot or a little)? Has anyone had a rear wheel alignment for wearing out the inside of the rear tyres? pv35gt8
I am starting to notice signs of wear on both front and back tyres. I am also running on Nismo suspension for a 350Z, which would equate to the current wear. After I fitted the suspension I took it to my local tyre dealer and had it aligned, all 4 wheels, and with the rears they added a bit more toe to try and even out the wear. The end result is that I will still need to go and get a full set of adjustable arms to take out the copious amounts of camber that the suspension kit put in. 180 wanabe
When I bought the car it had just been fitted with brand new Kumho KU19 275 x 35 R19 rear 245 x 40 R19 front I'm pretty sure Anyhow iv done 23k since then and the rears are not that far off the ware markers, ill prob get another 2k out of the rears before they need to be replaced. Slightley more ware on the inside but not that much. Fronts dont seem to ware as much they have a bit to go beofre the markers id say at least another 7k to go before I need to replace them. Ware seems to be pretty even on the fronts. Im running stock suspension Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/334753-v35-rear-tyre-wear/#findComment-5429415 Share on other sites
V35 350GT
My car was lowered by a previous owner. I've just replaced my tyres, but previous set had the uneven feathered wear. I've been told that tending to camber arms will improve the problem, but not 100% fix it ...but these were also tyres that delaminated from the inside for something different :s Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/334753-v35-rear-tyre-wear/#findComment-5433437 Share on other sites
