Timing Belt Cover

Does anyone know if a bent timing belt cover will effect the cars preformance. I have just purchased the car and have found multipul missing bolts from the cover and a big bend, where it has been pryed off. It also has about three missing bolts from the exaust manifold and has very poor preformance (run well but very slow). Can anyone help with some info.

It's probably best to take the car to a specialist in this type of car and get it serviced, examined and tuned > start from that base > trouble-free life.
