Is Anyone Elses Oil Gauge Inconsistant?

Hi all. The oil pressure gause (facotry cluster one) on my S2 r33 gts-t is very inconsistant. I run a semi-syn oil and change it every 5000ks, never low and check levels once a week so I know my oil level is always perfect.

My oil pressure gauge however is odd. Some days it will read around 4kg/cm2 when cruising and others less than 2. sometimes high at idle sometimes not. These variations can be seen on cold days hot days, there just isnt a pattern.

I know they are not accuraate gauges (as found by my search) but are they prone to changing readings form one day to another? Just want to be sure this isnt something to worry about

dont use the oil gauge, theyre useless

the best gauge is when your car dosent run anymore, that means that theres no oil pressure
