slyr33
Today i found out that there is a silver vl turbo calais under cover cop car. It has an immaculate paint job, front mount intercooler, slightly lowered and has a NRNR (No r#$t no ride) sticker on the back windscreen. They get it out every weekend and theres normally 4 undercovers in the car. I'm going by what this person said as they leave the car where she works. There is also a VT V6 undercover car there. If there anything like the undercover VX SS cars (there standard with the rear spoiler taken off so it doesn't cover the lights) they drive around all they do is drive round defecting any one. They talk to you in car parks and try and get you to talk about your car so they can defect it, they also try and get you into a drag by reving the car at the lights. There very f#*@ing cheeky and I know cos they pulled me over. So people going cruising any time soon, take a good look at the car your dragging, cos it might be our best friends. :inlove: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/33737-beware-of-undercovers/ Share on other sites

slyr33
BTW, think you need to wash your car again, its dirty. Yeah, as a daily driver I'd have to clean it every day and I dont have the time. are they "undercover" cops.... orare they just off duty cops They are undercovers. Their job is to get cars like ours off the road. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/33737-beware-of-undercovers/#findComment-677006 Share on other sites
slyr33
i know of a few VY SS undercovers but i havent seen any VX's They originally started with the VX's. Now they swapped them over for the newer model, but the way things are going it wouldn't surprise me if they still have the VX's on the street. GFXman
I didn't think they were allowed to rev the car to get you to drag... isn't that entrapment? If you take off like a maniac on your own accord that that'd be a different story. Pisses me off that cops have nothing better to do than defect peoples pride and joy. Loads of money spent and probably some of the safest cars around. And then they complain about staff shortages. How about stopping these psycho's walking arould with blood filled syringes attacking people.... P1E
I've seen a silver VL Calais used as a bait car on a number of occasions, with keys left in the driver side door or boot lock. Or maybe the owner's just really, really forgetful? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/33737-beware-of-undercovers/#findComment-677123 Share on other sites

Phorte
I didn't think they were allowed to rev the car to get you to drag... isn't that entrapment? australia has no laws against entrapment, unlike america. GFXman
great no doubt that will change when they do rev someone up and someone dies in an accident. Steve
great no doubt that will change when they do rev someone up and someone dies in an accident. That's pretty funny really (ok, I have a weird sense of humour) - I reckon I could convince just about anybody to do illegal things with enough money:p If every one had my high standards though, loose change would probably be enough:D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/33737-beware-of-undercovers/#findComment-687292 Share on other sites
Busky2k
Hmmm I'll keep my digi cam handy when I cruise the roads!
