Stagea Nm35 Shifter Gear Change Reversal?

Hey all,

I recently bought a Stagea NM35. One thing that annoys me is the sequential shifter style. As stock, you push up to change up gears and push down to change down gears. But this I find uncomfortable and seems against the cars motion when accelerating hard or braking hard. To me (IMO) it makes more sense to push up to shift down gears (as your leaning forward when you brake hard) and pull down to shift up gears (as your being pushed back into seat when accelerating).

I thought before I go ripping out the center console to see the possibility I'd check to see if anyone else has done this already and what they did. Also if anyone has some kind of schematics would be awesome (although if lucky its just simple wiring). I can see myself soon opening it up to see the circuitry underneath to make the change.
