A family friend owned a BEAUTIFUL mint green C210 sedan, and I'd always said that I wanted to know if/when they were thinking of selling it so I could grab it. It had two lots of carpets on the floor, seat covers, and just about everything else needed to keep it in good condition. No-one in the family smoked, so I knew there'd be no surprises with burn marks here, there and everywhere. It was an auto but not that I was worried, I would either have made it a street sleeper with new engine/gearbox combo, or kept it as-is as an original car in incredible condition.

Unfortunately it was sold without my knowing. :yes:

They didn;t want to see it with you, thats why they sold it to someone else.

they didn;t sound like good friends to me :P

How cruel.
