And they should pay for their mistakes, but people dont want to do this because there is someone in their ear saying "I can get you off this because I know how the legal system works, and now you dont have to pay for your mistakes, and your the victom of a injust legal system".

Saying that rubbish about the more police and bigger jails is a cop out that always get vomited out.

With less idiots making stupid mistakes on the road we would need less police-less hospital beds-less grave diggers.

Face it, its easier for them to not accept responceability for their actions than to accept them.

But then thats why we have lawyers, mostly.

With all due respect, mir, your view is one typical of someone who has had little/ no experience dealing with people who become embroiled in our criminal justice system.

Sure, our legal system is far from perfect, but without it we would be in alot of trouble.

I sincerely hope that you never find yourself in serious trouble as a result of having made an error of judgment; but if you do, i trust that the courts will extend to you the leniency which you are entitled.

Ive never had problems with the law, that was a typical uneducated assumption matey, unfortunally Ive spent more time expaining my actions than I care to admit, but, I have accepted my punishment which has been deamed fitting, learned from it and moved on.

I hope you never have someone take the life of someone you love and get off scott free because of some loop hole in the law.

Doing wrong is doing wrong, accept what youve done, take your punishment like a adult and learn from it, you will be a better person.

Also forgive my spelling, Ive never been big on that side of things.

What I believe Yeedogga is trying to point out is that we live in a democracy. We don't over punish crimes (like sending someone to a distant colony to live the remander of there sentance as a slave for stealing a loaf of bread).

The whole concept on Section 10 makes it easier for police where they can push the matter further and quicker because they know the person can use Section 10. It also would give majority of the people shock of going through the justice system so that they aren't repeat offenders with no hope. And as it's been said in earlier posts, Section 10 can ONLY be used if the courts allow it. You can't use it if you run someone over obviously, it's only for smaller charges. You need to ask the judge you wish to use it and the judge has to allow it, if it isn't allowed then everything goes on as it would normally. Therefore there is no 'loophole' per say, it may not be perfect but its a part of a democracy.

Just a counter-point for you to think about. It's a privilage, not a right.

You are not being sent to a colony, you are being fined and/or losing points because you broke the law.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
