Its the sunnycoast wasteland

anyone going out tonight?

im working til 9, then ill go out for a bit

I'll be out towards 11, after i'm done at work... Adam, you're better off going to a brisbane workshop to get your work done, though it may be a hassle thier standards are far above the workshops localy...

PRP is at Nambour. I would suggest you go to a workshop in brisbane, what do you want done locally? Its only an hour and a bit to go to brissy and there are a lot more workshops with experience on your car, worth the drive.

Lots of cars driving around with PRP stickers.

Have been to PRP a few times but only for very minor stuff.

They've just closed there workshop and are moving to the other side of town, to a bigger workshop with a dyno I think.

Theres alaso Barnes, but they seem more V8 orientated? I only use them for the dyno.

Barnes HAHA oh dear god. he's a fool. dont go to him.

Do not go to barne's, I wont slander a workshop on a public forum but my car now has a neo4 rb25det in it out of a R34 GT-t due to that workshop, i think that says enough...

Pfft slander... I slander work shops, although now I get emails with threats. HAHA.

lol lets not go there....jaboree, he (we wont mention names) thought he was pretty tuff trying to intimidate you josh, maybe the japanese would be keen to find out where he is atm?? Anyway yea ill support the above in not recommending barnes, havent experienced prp to be honest i rang them up once and they thought my r33 had a ca18 in it and didn't even know what the brand Apexi was let alone how to tune a safc II. Just my opinion go to brisbane people specialise in our sort of cars and there experience pays off!

yea my car is on the road when it wants to be...i was out at about 2 in the mornining..

ive seen a couple of cars like urs zilla i dunno if its u or not but yea...oi man i htink i knwo you...did u go to mt creek high...and wats ur last name if u dont mind me asking..CHeers Adam

    • I've got a 2011 J50 that I imported six years ago. The unmodified factory AV system date and time has always been correct ( Japanese timezone of course ) up until last month. About two weeks ago, at engine start, the system wished me a happy new year ( in Japanese of course ). I can't think of anything that would make the system think that the date had changed, unless the GPS component has failed/reset somehow ? I checked the GPS reception in the system settings, and it can still see the satellites. Has any other J50 owner had this happen ?  It's no biggie, just annoying that it tells me the wrong date anytime I start the engine. 😅
    • Love following your adventures on IG, hopefully if you're still around in Japan when we visit again wouldn't mind going for a few beers with you (that's if you're keen on hearing how I hate Nissans).
    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
