Alpine CDA-9887 Headunit - top of the range Alpine gear with the IMPRINT sound processor. Comes in original box, remote, headunit face protection case and includes a high speed iPod connector so you can control an iPod directly from the headunit. The headunit is in excellent condition - the only blemish is the arrow on the fast forward button is a bit faded(you can guess what button has been used the most!). You can change the colour of the back lighting on the headunit to match the colour of the interior lights of your car. Loads of fancy features.

Heres a photo of how it looks:

    • With ordering the belt, you're doing water pump and the idler and tensioner at the same time too yes?
    • This is just a dumb way of keeping the wastegate closed to make more boost. Undo it and either follow the factory setup or redo it properly. Manual boost controllers just use a spring preload to determine when to close in response to boost pressure so it no longer vents to atmosphere.
    • So for the wide band is a Bosch 4.9 correct for the Link G4+ along with a Can bus? Just get the Link gear or is generic ok too? Eg here: LINK LINK DIGITAL WIDEBAND CAN MODULE WITH BOSCH 4.9 SENSOR : KYP Performance House
    • Bit difficult to follow. Have a look below and see what the standard R32 layout was like. Note there was a restrictor in place immediately before "turbocharged pressure control solenoid" that, if removed, magically got you 1 bar boost.
    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
